Are ye mad. Benteke has 19 PL goals this season, can score from the head or feet, strong, powerful and knows how to play in the premier league. A far better player than Giroud and Higuain.
To compete with city, utd and chelsea 23m should be peanuts

Benteke is 10x the player Giroud is and will ever be in the premiership! I'd pay Â£20m no problem.

Better than higuain? Haha what a joke. Yes his done well scoring goals this season but so has giroud. If we spent 20 mill We would only spend 20 mill on a very special player, a proven player. Benteke has had a good season but still.
If we could get higuain for 20mill that would be crazy he is proven world class quality. His goal record in La liga is amazingly Nd let's be fair you do well in la liga you do well here, Can't see us getting him though

Why do people get carried away with the hype. Has Benteke been scoring for fun in the premiership for the last five years and I havn't noticed. To say he is better than Higuain and Giroud is farcical. I heave seen him play well but also visited Villa Park not so long ago and he was truly awful, poor touch, couldn't hold the ball up, didn't move, and worse of all offside all the time. The Villa fans were slating him. May have potential and goals wise done well but he will be no world beater

Ok please understand Higuain when it comes to scoring goals is phenomenal! His record speaks for itself if you doubt his ability wonder maybe why he was signed for Real Madrid and have a look at the goals he has scored. As for Benteke he is a quality player that's there for all to see bbut he is not world class and Higuain is full stop.

So just because benteke scored 19 goals this season it makes him better than giroud who has 17 for the season so far with 1 game to go, give the bloke a chance or all them years ago was you all calling for henry to be sold because he got outscored for a season?

Please stop comparing giroud to benteke. giroud has 11 BPL goals (17 overall). whereas benteke has 19 BPL goals (23 overall)

also consider benteke has played less games and was playing for a team near the bottom of the league all season, with less chances created etc. benteke >> giroud.

having said all that, i'd rather have Higuain. But i'd still be happy if we replaced giroud with benteke. The fact that they are similar style players means benteke won't be coming, sorry.
