Hey lads, I know that nobody will believe me but its 100% true so I'm going to post it. Was at Glastonbury & no lie I was stood behind Wayne Rooney watching Dizzee Rascal perform. Built up the courage to ask him "When you signing for Arsenal?" To which he replied "I'm going nowhere pal". I expect a lot of doubters but I do have photo evidence of the man himself & I know myself what was said so just passing it on.

No idea why you think we would doubt you mate, none of us were confident of signing Rooney anyway it's all agent/paper talk.

Post the picture, then.

3.) 02 Jul 2013
If you have pics, then by all means share them in the 'sightings' section. If not then.

4.) 02 Jul 2013
" Built up the courage" to ask a brainless monkey a simple question at a music festival, when I presume if you are a person of any worth, you were half smashed, and wouldn't have given a toss about asking him, in fact most football fans in the festival mood would have reminded him about his inadequate thyroid gland and penchant for elderly ladies. Utter codswallop!

Thank the Lord!

6.) 02 Jul 2013
Easily the most believable piece of information I've seen on here in a long time.

Believable.
But best part about this site is the backing stories people come up with! who knows which ones are real.

8.) 02 Jul 2013
So multi millionaire's Coleen and Wayne Rooney were mixing it with the regular folk? No security? Despite arriving and leaving by helicopter?

9.) 02 Jul 2013
Thank god don't want shrek?
come on wenger get them signing done
before we miss out on the best players

10.) 02 Jul 2013
I am not convinced- not saying it isn't true.

BUT if Rooney feels that way, why hasn't he made it public, or "his people"?

As soon as the story broke about his apparent transfer request, they could've simply denied it and said the usual stuff of how happy and committed he is at utd, etc.

In fact that could happen at anytime- the longer its dragged on, for me the more legs it has about him being at least 50/50 about staying at utd.

That's my view.

11.) 02 Jul 2013
I know none of you will believe this but I am wayne rooney's hair dona, honestly I have pictures and he told me to expect to see him running out at the emirates next season

12.) 02 Jul 2013
AHAHA hair dona! That's totally cracked me up. Rooney won't come to arsenal as we won't pay his wages otherwise he would. The boys nothing other than a mercenary!

13.) 02 Jul 2013
Ha Ha is that like Donner Kebab or something. Anyway if I were you I would be having it on my toes as Rooney had to have his barnet re - done again recently so expect a letter from his legal team when they try and sue your ar* e for a refund Ha Ha!

Hair Doner crack was the funniest thing I have on here in while. It cracked me up.

As for Rooney, anyone with sense would know he's making a noise as he's been over shadowed by RVP since he arrived.

With Moyes in place he believes he has a better chance of playing instead of coming on from the bench.

To Slick Mick

Why wouldn't they want to mix with the regular crowd? If you've ever been to a festival or any gig for that matter, you'd know that one of the best parts is about being in with the crowd soaking up the atmosphere.

Even at a football match, would you rather be in amongst the crowd, or in one of those director boxes with a bunch of suits?

Mike

16.) 02 Jul 2013
Hi Mike. Have you ever been to a festival, and saw a famous person in the throng of a crowd? At Glastonbury? The most corporate of all festivals? Without security? Okay, a few years back I went to Radio 1's big weekend. Dappy of NDubz fame was there, mixing with the great unwashed. Even that annoying little scrote was flanked by burly security. I'd say Wayne Rooney is above Dappy on the punchability scale, especially if opposing football fans had a few sherberts too many. You think he'd be amongst normal people? Or with the V. I. P's?

More chance of us signing Dizzee Rascal

There are photos of Rooney at the festival and he didn't go backstage.

Oh, of course. The Daily Mail. The bastion of impartial journalism. That's where I go for my fix of spin free news.

20.) 02 Jul 2013
Highbury Faithful.

"With Moyes in place he believes he has a better chance of playing instead of coming on from the bench. "

You're joking right? The two men DESPISE each other! Moyes sued Rooney for comments made in his autobiography not long ago.

21.) 02 Jul 2013
Slick Mick

Haha don't worry I wasn't trying to defend Rooney, just meant to say that it's perfectly plausible that he was in with the crowd.

And yes, I've been to plenty of festivals, I've been going to Leeds and V festival for years and was actually at Glastonbury this year. I've spotted a couple of celebs while there, though admittedly none with the "punchability factor" that Rooney has. Managed to meet Frankie and Rochelle from The Saturdays at Radio One's Big Weekend (although I was working at that one) once!

I only believe this because you said it was 100% true.

24.) 03 Jul 2013
If you did speak to him surely you would ask a better question then when are you signing for arsenal seems odd it was never going to happen

I'm still laughing at "Regular folk".
