Eds got any of the latest on Sagna? There's a a lot of paper talk about him considering a move to City of all places. As well as interest from Monaco, Galatasaray, Fenerbace and Real Madrid.

Hoping this is all just pointless paper talk as usual but I'm seeing quite a lot of it. Got any info?

Cheers

{Ed001's Note - Gala did show interest, but I expect him to sign a contract extension or new contract, not sure which it will be.}

But he's completely washed up.

Sanga has been one of our best players this year the guy is top quality really hoping he signs an extension I'd live to see him stay for another 3-4 years

Washed up? yea ok.

Sanga is a beast. past it a tiny bit, like next season he might be off the pace a yard, but he puts in solid performances and i'd take him as Merts back up.

ubistonk you are welcome to your opinion, but its wrong haha, nah on a serious note he soon won't be good enough for us, and Jenko isn't there yet. perhaps we need a new RB, someone of monreal's ilk?

One of our best players this year? That has got to be a joke. He can't run and he gives the ball away like it's going out of fashion. 4 years ago he was a fantastic full back, but now the team carries him. Jenks is a far more complete footballer and needs more first team experience. I'm afraid the broken legs have ruined Bacary.

Had one of his best years this year, even better if you think he's had a broken leg last year, 30+ and should be going downhill. He is the sort of player that can pass on the Arsenal traditions to players like Jenkinson and Bellerin.

Letting Sagna go will be a big mistake, if he wants to go we will need a top class right back.

Jenk's is a far more complete footballer? is that a joke. not even close to sagna's level, the guy needs games sure, But that's a ludicrous statement. Just because you got more energy to burn and can afford to run around like a maniac, don't make you a complete footballer. far from it. I love the guy, but sagna's our better option by far.

I think sagna is solid enough he just can't beat a man and offensively, always seems to go back towards goal, I would love someone in the Seamus Coleman mould, think he will be a real star

With city apparently interested, why not some kind of swap for richards?

I would love to see Richards in an Arsenal shirt. Granted he might be a little bit rusty at first but I feel he's been really hard done by at City and as far as England goes. When he was playing most games he looked class and the guy is an absolute tank! Hoping we step up interest in him in the summer.
