So the last we heard before missing out on Falcao is that we were in 'very active talks with a striker'
After looking at some of his stats, if it's Bacca, I won't be happy. He's better on the ball and quicker. But, at 27 he's only got a few prime years left and over the last two seasons, he's been statistically identical to Giroud.
Why go for a player of the same level when we can go for a striker a class above of Giroud. He's already shown more than enough time's that he's not up to the task of starting for a top 4 side and without pace he's just not premier league material.
I can only hope I come back home from training to some good news.
{Ed002's Note - Bacca is off as Arsenal were not quick enough to return with a better offer for the player. Sevilla now say it is too late to replace him.}

Ha that's terrible news. Eds, please soften the blow at least and make up a fluffier response. Say. . 'he prefers the weather in spain'

So does that mean we are supposedly in this 'active talks' with another striker?
{Ed002's Note - I can't help.}

According to Bacca is on his way to Arsenal now.
