As ed has said before. Potential option for us, although we're unlikely to like the price tag.

He's also had a serious knee injury so at 29 may already have begun his decline.

A very "right now" signing, which would be unlike wenger. I think everyone would love to see him in an arsenal shirt, but in reality, sky probably just put 2 and 2 together and got 35 mate.

Yep I see your point, at the minute he's probably the best player in serie a. i'm referring to fitness not talent decline.

I'm "on" the same logic that made Torres and Micheal Owen's careers go sharply downhill the way they did under the same circumstances at a similar age. Fat Ronaldo was world class when he retired. His legs where just made from mash potatoe by that point.
