You've got to love Dortmund. They just tick every box from a fan's perspective, they really do! They guild a team from nothing, taking a long view, having a vision based upon a style of play and developing the raw talent at their disposal. They have done this to such a point where they've quadrupled the value of their squad, won the league, de-throned Bayern, and reached a Champions League final.

They have then kept most of their players. They play hardball with a striker, and although I believe he will be sold this summer, it won't be to Bayern. And they should be congratulated for that.

Then, once they sold their two best midfielders from the last few seasons, Kagawa and Goetze, they have reinvested so well I am really jealous. And early, too. They've smashed our transfer record signing Mkhitaryan, and they've snapped up massively in demand Aubameyang, as well as a top CB and a free GK.

Not only that, but even their kit launch was incredible! Has anyone seen it? 80'645 flowers were used to depict the new kit, set out in Westfalen Park, somewhere I used to go as a kid. Incredible!

Arsenal, I hope you're watching closely!

Lewandowski is going to Bayern. We did the same thing between 2002 and 2005 and a LOT of people would have been watching!

That team is pure class. and at this moment in time, doing everything we could ever do, and doing it 10 times better.

BVB the german Arsenal, expect they seem to be getting things right. Holding onto youngsters (mainly), solid defence, reliable keeper.

And when there biggest rival wanted to sign their star striker in the last year of his contract (ledanowski), they kept him.

Take a bow Klopp!

I agree with everything on here, except no one is mentioning that Dortmund did not have to finance their own stadium move. That would cripple most clubs and we have managed to stay in top 4 during that time. Don't get me wrong, Dortmund is very impressive indeed but so are we if you think about it.

Your posts are pretty good metal but I don't agree with this one! bvb are arsenal! we started this model in the modern game but unfutunitly the premier leauge and some teams sold there souls to the money men! the german leauge does not have this problem as these types of investers are not welcome as far as i'm aware, there is to much money and greed in football in the p/l that is the problem not arsenals model!
