I have to say if you think about things a bit deeper I think our chances of landing Benzema AND Di Maria are pretty high despite being hinged on Bale moving.

Di Maria usually plays on the right correct? And in more recent seasons Real like to play with a left footed right winger and a right footed left winger correct? So either the system will change and we could see Ronaldo playing on the right or Bale wound directly replace Di Maria.

Also they have a VERY good striker in Morata and we all know they won't be able to play both suarez and Benzema. And Benzema won't be happy about that.

You could even see jese on the left and either Ronaldo or Bale playing in a more central role. The possibilities if they sign Bale and suarez are endless and not just for Madrid.

Not getting ahead of myself because I know what we're like but if this is serious I do like our chances.

I could imagine Di Maria and potentially Ozil being available, but not Benzema, unless they do end up signing Suarez aswel, then it is a slight chance, but feel someone else will come in for him if he becomes available.

{Ed022's Note - My BBQ sauce told me this morning that Madrid are keen to sign Suarez and Bale to take the shine off the Neymar effect at Barcelona, especially as the other club bidding for Neymar was Real Madrid. Therefore, Benzema could be available but I would be skeptical of him moving. However, Di Maria could be on his way, and Ozil is pure class so don't think Ancellotti would let him go, would he?}

Another option for Real could be to play Ronaldo up top with Bale, Ozil and Isco playing behind him. Meaning no space for Benzema?

Ozil? no chance. big clubs don't sell their best players.

Di maria, could be, due to world cup year and play time issue. will he want to leave?

They do have Isco, Ozil, morata, jese, Kaka who can play on the wings.
