Good morning everyone . I'm reading a lot of joy about our lovely team and rightly so. I don't want to dilute the feeling people are having but let's all have a reality check here and not take our foot off the gas. A few years ago it would have been a foregone conclusion that we would beat Fulham and as far as Fenerbahce are concerned they were diabolical anyway and I would be confident in us putting out our youth team to beat them. Yet I get the feeling that the way we are rejoicing lately is out of relief rather than anything else. That is why I believe that all us supporters have to put pressure on Wenger and the board to spend this nearly £100 million war chest they have now, yes! its been increased to £100 million if you didn't all know.Lets see some action. We have just over a week to go.

You have to think something is on the cards, not to buy players now would be unforgivable, even the main players are asking for them. Buy and we challenge again, don't buy and were 5/6th it's that simple. The top ten teams have first team squads of at least 24 players, we currently have 16, enough talk from Wenger and the board we now need action.

A few years ago it would have been a foregone conclusion that we'd beat Fulham, but the competition in the prem now is fierce. Every team in the league are better. In terms of ability there's not a massive gulf in class as there once was. I didn't think Manchester United were overly amazing last year, but they won by a country mile. There's a thin line between truly world class players, and nearly every player in our league is a candidate for international duties.

In principal I suppose I'm saying that claiming that we should be hammering certain teams is a bit naive these days. Villa proved that against us last week.

Trust me, if Wenger does not strengthen before the window closes the poisonus atmosphere at the Emirates will get worse. plus the media will use it like a dog with a bone to chip away at Wenger. no hiding place Wenger/Board - time is up!
