Wengers latest excuse is that the fans are brainwashed by the media and do not know enough about football. Anyone that's been watching for the last five years and with half a brain knows what's wrong with the team. The mans a complete tosser!

To be honest, EVERY single player in the world has been linked to Arsenal this transfer window. You can't tell me that the media hasn't been playing it all up.

For all we know, we could have only enquired about 'Higuain', and the media made the 'bids' up.

The media have to sell their story, and what's better than an ACTUAL transfer story? Throwing names around left and right.

Yeah its all lies spewed by the media. Not like the manager said not long ago we could buy cavani and chief exec said we could buy Waynerooney. Not like we don't have £150,000,000 floating around not doing anything.

Totally agree the fans are brainwashed. Look at man sh*ty £80 mil later and they get beat off Cardiff City so what about all their Marque signings? Chelsea were lucky to get a draw with Billa and think Villa will do well this season. Have a little faith the signings will come and we are The Arsenal

Sorry Wengerism he IS a mile off the mark here. I have been a gooner for too many yrs George Swindon was still our manger when I first went. So I know a bit about the game & just wise enough to know when the wool is being pulled over my eyes. I am not being brainwashed by anyone [as a hypnotherapist I know when this is happening :) ] We ain't a bad side but for various reasons have been for 5 yrs 3 players short. We still are. 3 class players would turn this side around, we now have the money all else is excuses. It ain't rocket science mate. I admire your trust in the man but it should be tempered with realism for it to be realistic.

Even with half a brain and not even half a day in football, one thing I do know is we haven't bought any players ( unless I have been brainwashed and we already have bought Suarez, Higuain etc etc. )

Read the whole interview for what Wenger really said. Its been a bad summer for us no question but let's read what's really there not what we or others want to see. Be nice to be told by the club who we genuinley tried to sign to putall in to perspective

Are weaknesses are obvious and they have largely been in the past five years. If we had shown ambition then we might have kept some world class players. They were the ones who said how much money we had, how hard there working, how they think we will make additions. Anyone who know's about football and follows Arsenal know's there's problems at the club. It's not the media's fault how many times has Wenger had a wry smile saying transfers will happen then nothing does.
