Why is everyone going crazy on Ozil I get it we paid 42 million but he created the first goal by making a beautiful cut back and drawing a penalty. If he makes the penalty and we get a result he I think some would have a different view.

Yes the best players in the world should make their penalties but it happens. In my opinion someone else should have taken it but I am not in training and I have no idea who takes them well.

Can someone please name me 5 players in the world who are great offensive and defensive players there are not many. He is a fantastic creative player but is not a great defender we did not buy him to defend. He is struggling a bit the last 8 weeks but he does not have the weapons around him right now. We have no Walcott, no Ramsey and no world class striker. I think we came out with a great plan but once again we screw it up with a stupid penalty. Give up the goal I would rather be down 1-0 with 11 men even with a missed penalty you can't hang with Bayern a when you are a man down.

Still love the heart we are going to win the premier league this game gives me belief but we do need to be smarter Flamini red card a few weeks ago cost us now the one tonight cost us a chance of advancing.

At the number 10 position, Darren is absolutely right bedsides Rooney

Rooney also prefers to play as a striker

And Xavi is a substandard defender, helped by his team hunting in packs

Winslow no need to get upset. You named a couple who are, that was my point. I said 5 you gave me 2 maybe 3 in the whole world. Xavi is not a world class defender nor do I consider rooney a world class defender I was speaking of people who are as good at attacking as they are defending. World class Yaya Toure definitely, Gundogan and Vidal have not seen a ton of them to make that statement. I was just stating that there are not many of those who are great at both ends. Look I am somewhat disappointed with Ozil as of late but I can see his class but he has struggled recently. Someone above said Mata was better then Ozil I can't in any way agree with that has he seen Mata defend.
