The worst thing about the loss yesterday.

Mourinhio got another one over Wenger. I cannot stand the man. I used to think he was funny because of his eccentricity and that he was a fantastic coach. Now I see him as a despicable human being. He has no affection for any club he manages, and left Chelsea, Madrid and Inter in bad shape after he left. After he assaulted that Barcelona coach I lost all respect for him. No manager puts Wenger down as much as he does. Anyone else notice he vanished before the final whistle to avoid shaking Wengers hand?

Also, why did Wenger take responsibility for the loss. 5/6 goals were down to individual errors? His hands were tied with team selection due to injuries. The players were 100% at fault. At 2-0 it was still panic. Leaders on pitch such as Mertesacker and Arteta clearly went missing. On a side note, I think Arteta is useless and offers nothing to this team, Flamini should start over him every game. BTW did Koscielny go off Injured or was it a tactical change?

Got to concentrate on Swansea now. I will throw up if its a 0-0 draw and Wenger comes out sayong we needed to steady the ship etc. This is the business end of the season. 3 points is crucial to prevent us possibly losing top 4. We need to play Gnabry and Sanogo for pace imo. Flamini and Pod have to start aswell. i'd drop Szeszncy aswell.

Right now I would take 4th and FA cup and call that a success. Before people argue "Were arsenal we should be aiming for double etc, top 4 not good enough. " wake up. We aren't the same team we were 10 years ago. Stop being arrogent. Winning FA cup would be HUGE. Top 4 is an achievment considering we were bricking it we wouldn't even make top 6 in August.

We need to get the 8/9 year trophy drought behind us. Regain some winning mentality. Start afresh in summer and invest in a top ST and CDM. Add depth to RB, CB and ST. We also need PACE. I think Pisczeck, Gintner, Bender, Remy and Benzema is what we need to propell us back to the top.

Like you I used to enjoy Morinho first time round but he really is a horrible human being, although he is supposed to be a nice bloke away from football there is absolutely no excuse for the way he has and continues to treat Arsene, I really don't understand why people can not be respectful.
I would never want him near our club, a winner without question but also without dignity.
I still have high hopes of top 3 I know that sounds optimistic right now but there are a lot of games and shocks to come yet and I'm sort of banking on we might get some pleasant ones for a change:-)
Delusional or optimist? I've been called both and worse :-)

Absolutely agree.

I was saying the same to a friend as we watched it.

The man is loathsome!

He may be a good coach, but he is a vile man!

Anyone of calibre would, knowing they have got the 3 points, and especially as it was Wengers 1000th game, would have shaken his hand and said something like "It is just one game. Sometimes everyone has bad days. I am sure the next one will be good. And the majority will always be better than worse".

Or at least I would have said such in the same position.

Jose has no class, he never will.

I despise the man.

On the players front for me it would be.

Draxler, Ginter, Gonalons, Ballotelli and / or Lukaku, Piszchek and / or Aurier, Mangala, Lars Bender, Morata.

I must admit, I would love to have Joel Campbell back currently.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, he is not really a vile man, everything he does is for show, for the cameras. Away from the cameras he is totally different. I know of players that have played against Chelsea that he has sat down with after the match and gone through the dossier he has on them with them. Explaining to them their weaknesses and strengths and helping them to improve their game. Some played for rival clubs, others played for lower league teams that they faced in cup competitions. None of them he needed to help, he just did it because they asked him for advice. He is not the guy you see on TV at all.}

If we don't win it I would like anyone apart from Jose.

Shame, because Chelsea I don't hate, but that man just tarnishes them with his undignified behaviour.

Then I do not understand the reason for the absolutely undignified lack of respect for Wenger.

But then there are lost of things I do not understand.

I assist people and mentor and develop them, it has how I was brought up, and how I have developed as a person. And I may well not agree with some people I come into contact with and how they see differently to me, in all walks of life, but I am at least respectful and well mannered (or try to be).

But, it is good to hear that he has positive qualities and I accept your better knowledge of the man.

Ed001i hear what you are saying and away from the public eye I have heard some really good things about him.
One where someone stopped at a famous burger chain in Southampton and saw morinho in there and asked for his autograph, not only did he oblige he asked the lad if he wanted to share his table where they sat and talked about football and all for the next
45mins.
But his treatment of Arsene is inexcusable no matter how nice away from the game.when utd beat us 82 Fergie put aside the rivalry with Arsene and was humble.
100 games and I think Moriniho will come to regret his actions in years to come and be ashamed of him self

Detroit Gooner, it's a bit of a myth that Mourinho leaves teams in bad shape. Real Madrid are currently top of La Liga while Chelsea came 2nd in the league, made the CL and League Cup Final with AVRAM GRANT as manager!

Mourinho often leaves games before the end, it wasn't an insult directed at Wenger at all but if it makes you feel better to make him out to be a monster, fill your boots. I once heard he ate our academy kid's toes for breakfast and that's why our youth never come through: no balance ;)
