Would be interested to know everyone's thoughts on the DM situation.

A) Would people rather have a player who is tough tackling and pure defensive minded which would allow Ramsey and Ozil to concentrate more on attacking.

or

B) Would be rather have a traditional No.6 who sits back and dictates play allowing the No.8(Ramsey) to play as a box-to-box midfielder and the No.10(Ozil) to be the creative player in the midfield.

Personally, I'd love to have the option of both so we can change it up but if you had to pick one, which one would it be?

After watching City this season, I believe the right solution would be to have two hard working box-to-box midfielders. We have Ramsey, Wilshere and Chamberlain who can play the role. But we should add another to ensure depth. Then all we need to do is stick with these players and let them play together so they could learn to cover each other. Arteta and Flamini are solid back ups but neither is a solution for long term nor should be considered a starter.

Good call G95. I'd love both of the Bender twins. Lars is a more attacking minded DM, Sven just loves to tackle. Sign 'em both please Mr Wenger! Just wrong to break up a family, especially twins.

DM is clearly the chosen one.

What about using Vermaelan in the DM role, naturally defensive minded but good on the ball. I believe it's the perfect position for him. What do you all think?

{Ed025's Note - a bit clumsy for me archie, very good defender, but dont think he has the engine for that job mate..
