Just because city want Sanchez doesn't mean there'll get him.
What can they offer that we can't?
Ok yes more money I'll give you that one
And yes on paper they look a better bet for winning trophies based on squad quality and recent record.
But apart from that what have they got to offer?

More money than we can dream of offering and to be fair, they are league champions and have a wealth of world class players in their team.

Surely one of the reasons sanchez is leaving is for a more regular role where he is appreciated more which he is way more likely to get with us than city

Seriously, they'd buy a player and not play him just so their rivals don't get them.

In all seriousness, I don't see Sanchez going to City. He won't get regular first team football when he's competing with Nasri, Silva and Jesus H. Navas. And Wenger has a way with players he want's to sign. If he's spoken to the player directly then he's as good as ours. Even just speaking to the guys agent might seal it for us. Remember what happened when we signed Ozil, it took one phone call to the player himself and he was ours.
