If we do drop our interest in Khedira, which I hope is true, what would you guys say to bringing Alex Song back on the cheap?

Given that he can be more disciplined and not go bombing forward and leave us exposed at the back, he can play both CDM and CB.

Khedira wants to earn equal/more than Ozil does, so no thank you, try Monaco.

Thoughts?

I think song was a liability and many was happy he went. Think it'll be a step in the wrong direction. Would much prefer schnidelin or bender

I don't fancy all the needles free kicks he used to concede around our box, so undisciplined in his position that he was always chasing back rather than facing attacks.
And before anyone states he laid a few nice assists on for RVP, that wasn't his job so it doesn't cancel out the goals we concede from his sloppy play

Yea I agree 100% that he is not ideal, not by any stretch of the imagination.

I would definitely prefer Schneiderlin or one of the Benders, but if none of them are feasible, would you rather have Song back, or go through another season with only Arteta and Flamini? (oh yeah, and Diaby ;) lol)
