I'm amazed we wernt in for alderwield, does any one know the reason? I know we were linked, I think even offered. He's done really well. A stat I saw that I thought was amazing is that forster has made the second fewest saves in the league (18) less than half as many as the most made. Which shows the defence doesn't give teams many opportunities and is the main reason they've conceded so few

Even stranger considering Koscielny has had 2 achilles on the verge of snapping since pre season as well.

Glad we didn't go for Mangala at least, but when he let TV5 go surely there was a decent CB available for the same money, maybe someone of the calibre of Lescott that could have been a 3rd or 4th choice. Shame Sagna decided not to stay, he would have been good for another year or two.

Anyway guys there is nothing that can be done until Jan so we have to get on with it,

337 I do believe there were offers made to try and bring in a CB. Correct me if I'm wrong eds and who ever else. but the one of the names we almost landed was Manolas, who decided to jump ship and sign for Roma.
