I read that AW is paid £8.5M per annum, that's roughly £165k per week. I assume bonuses based on performance (revenue & competitive) are also included so the actual figure is likely much higher.

Wonder how many other clubs have the manager as the top earner?

I think the performance based criteria will have to be very very low for Wenger to qualify for it at the end of every season.

He probably gets a bonus for turning a profit and a bonus for top 4 ;)

Do you earn more than your boss? I'm not in Wenger's corner here but he's been there 18 years and runs every aspect of the club (for better or worse). Who deserves to be earning more than him?

I'm not sure any manager should earn less than his staff for that matter.
