Same s**t different day. Everyone could see that second coming apart from the players and arsene. If you compare the invincibles to this team stylistically it's completely different. The invincibles were about strength, power, pace and simple football. This team has no power no strength has pace but doesn't use it correctly and over plays everything.

Why would we not follow the model of our best team? Makes no sense!

Wenger got blinded By the Barcelona/ Spanish way and decided that was the way to play no matter what and broke up a winning team and way of playing. He went from players of strength pace and power as you say to small technical ball players we just have far to many of these now.

The problem is our players are just not good enough to play as well as Barcelona can and it is style that just gets bulldozed by the strength and power of the EPL. We have been left behind and not adapted quick enough.


Wenger is just too stubborn and set in his ways unfortuatly he will never be sacked so he would have to leave on his terms. I only hope that we don't slide down too much while he is still in charge.

Agree with you ryan. We are a budget barca who don't want to press or defend as a team as that great barca team did. I mean even they had a keita, toure or busquets. Wenger has taken the attacking aspect of that team but not the defensive and for the first season ever I've wanted wenger gone.
