Hi Eds, I have a post that I wrote yesterday, it ended up on the Other Arsenal posts. Could you please allow me to repost it on the banter page? It read as follows:

What I have learnt in recent times:

1. Wenger has lost his marbles

2. This so called Arsenal style of play that we fail to fit good players into has gotten us 4th at very best in recent times

3. Giroud and Welbeck are not premier league winning strikers. Even if we were to put them into the current Chelsea or City starting 11s, they would not win the league

4. Per is a good defender. there I said it! HE IS A GOOD DEFENDER playing in a messed up defensive system. Everyone knows he is slow, but somehow Wenger gets him involved in a zonal marking system. To add to that, we don't have hard running and effective CDMs

5. Besides Sanchez and Santi, most Arsenal players cannot shoot from outside the box

6. Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere are professional hospital patients that occassionally play for Arsenal

7. We just cannot score corner kicks. We seem to score a worrying low number of headed goals from corner kicks.

8. Sczezney is not a "wow" keeper. Defences get breached all the time no matter who you are. Once in a while you want your keeper to pull of a spectacular save to keep us in the hunt. Everytime our defence is breached, I know we will concede.

9. We need a strong character in at CB or CDM. A hard man who does not tolerate half-hearted displays. A true leader who bleeds for Arsenal

10. Last but not least, we need a manager who speaks English rather than gibberish at post match interviews :)

Personally I think Giroud could be a very important part of a title winning Squad and strange as Arsene no doubt has become I can't believe he has told Mertesacker to duck out of the way of high balls and under no circumstances cover the line when the keeper goes AWOL.
I blame Arsene for most of our problems but Merts not being that fussed this season is down to the player not manager
