Anyone watching Sterling?

If the pool love Sterling and he wants 150k a week, then I really don't get those who want Theo out.

Theo is worth 100 Sterlings

im sorry but that is just complete rubbish. Yes sterling is having a poor game but he is without a doubt a better player than walcott, and far younger

Why does he deserve a pay rise Ozil?
Seriously mate what's he done to justify one?
Personally I think he should be grateful for the clubs patients and snatch thier hand off for an extension of his current terms and set about showing his appreciation to manger club and fans for their support of him over what have been very inconsistent years with the club.

I didn't say he deserved a pay rise - I said he was better than Sterling - and he is miles, miles better.

If you can't see than you don't understand football. In my humble opinion, of course:)

Jesus I've read some utter drivel on here before but that takes the biscuit, who've you been watching over the last 2 years of you think Theo is better than Sterling.
And the you've got the stones to say others don't understand football

Funniest thing I've read in years.

Better than Sterling that's opinion Ozil but the club either give Theo more money or part company that's reality

I guess I've got the stones as I've watched a lot of football and I would think the stats would back me up - I'll go and have a look.

Sterling had a purple patch and lives off the glory. Walcott has suffered injury but when fit is a better finisher, and faster. Neither can cross.

Sorry, I am surprised the feeling for theo. I guess you weren't there at the spurs game? I for one am glad he's back.

He's a brilliant role model for young fans, he's a good finished and an arsenal player.

I think too much consumer society effects around here. I don't throw things away if they are useful

Ok so here's the stats

2010-11 28 apps 9 goals
2011-12 35 apps 8 goals
2012-13 32 apps 14 goals
2013-14 13 apps 5 goals

My point is, for a right winger, that is a solid return, and stats that are better than the bandwagon drums would allow you to believe.

I like FACTS, they help with the weight of the stones:)

Lol then has pace and that's it I'm afraid, sterling is creative skilful, pacy and can finish, he miles ahead of theo (pains me to admit )

22 Mar 2015 16:08:39
So given those facts Ozil would you give into his pay demands?
Forget the bandwagon does he get more money?
In my opinion its debatable if he deserves more time to relise that undoubted potential but there's no way I'd give him both more time and even more money, would you?

No G62, no more money really if he's on 100k. He's been out a year and only 2 years into his new contract.

I still think at 26 it makes sense as the next 4 years we should see the best of him. If Sterling (20 goals in 92 games) is still doing it 3 years we'll see and i'll eat humble pie. At the moment he is worth keeping imo.

Doubt this can be settled immediately but he is too good a player to lose, especially as Wenger wants Ox in centre mid and there is no certainty players like sanchez will remain loyal - much as we can hope they will - gnabry jury out, miyaichi (who I though would be great) hasn't come through either. We need the impact speed to get behind defenses

Your replys were even funnier, didn't think you could manage it but you did, well done

I love Theo, I can't think of one aspect of the game were he's better than sterling..... Maybe 'role model' I'll be laughing about that one all night

And you pick one game against Spurs when he had a good game, you might watch a lot of football but it's clearly
not Arsenal or Liverpool games, I'm guessing you had to drop the 'not bad for a. winger' comment because when you trotted off to do the research you realised Sterlings stats where way better

22 Mar 2015 17:11:09
Well Ozil mate at least we all agree no more money, so it's in his hands?
If Cole wasnt worth a £5000 rise most certainly Theo's not

13.) 22 Mar 2015
22 Mar 2015 17:16:47
I've just explained theo has a one in three game goal rate over 5 years and sterling has a one in four in two years.

I can only assume if you are laughing, you must be looking at a mirror

22 Mar 2015 18:07:03
Just to be clear, 1404, that was just teasing nothing more. All on the same side at the end of the day

15.) 22 Mar 2015
22 Mar 2015 18:12:06
Theo is the better finisher and I think faster runner just. Sterling is the better dribbler and quicker with the ball

I agree with Ozil everyday. Sterling had a purple patch which was last season when Liverpool almost won the EPL and although he is one of the best young talents in the PL, I wouldn't swap him with a fit and in form Theo. Walcott's purple patch was probably when he bagged an England hat-trick and was on everyone's lips but over the length of his whole career, he has still managed to maintain commendable statistics. All in all, (in my opinion) Sterling could quite conceivably go on to surpass Walcott but he hasn't done that yet.

Trust me perfect mate if he signs an extended deal on the same money I certainly won't be shy in apologizing very loud and clear no if buts or maybes I promise.
Time will tell us eventually mate
