So, finishing first is virtually impossible and second place is also highly unlikely. Hopefully, we will somehow manage to win our remaining home matches and pick up a couple of away draws, which should be enough to secure third spot, despite both Manchester clubs getting some decent recent results. In respect of both Manchester clubs, they have cup matches which may hinder their league performances. 4th place doesn't guarantee a CL place, in the event either Man City or Liverpool win their European trophy, then I believe they secure the 4th spot, even if they are outside of the PL top 4.
I have generally been a supporter of Wenger staying, but this support is declining, as he appears to have a group of players that are not performing anywhere near their true ability, don't forget we have not lost a match to either Leicester or the Toot this season. With the players likely to go this summer we need 5 or 6 replacements which shows the mistake Wenger has made over the last few windows in not recruiting earlier. We will lose the following players for sure; Debuchy, Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky. Whilst the likes of Gibbs, Ox and Walcott look unhappy at the club and that's down to Wenger.
I must admit that our form in 2016 has led me to withdraw my support for Wenger and pray that Mourinho hasn't signed for Man U and we slip in and secure his services. He would restore the passion that we require. The problem, as I have stated previously, is that either Wenger lingers on next season, with 2 or 3 signings at best and then we replace him poorly, as the big hitters are all in top jobs.

Good post RG

The accurate point is that Wenger will stay on, he will 100% honour his contract make no mistake about that.

Your 100% right Banbury mate, but what can we do?
I say accept the situation and chill out about something we can't change is our best option mate.
Any way about Benzema, any news :-)

All the big hitters? Was Pochettino or Koeman a big hitter last season. I would fancy both of these to get a lot out of the current Arsenal squad. I'm not anti Wenger especially, but he has to go at some point and I can't really see him taking the club any further.

For the record I'm not a fan of Klopp's style of football and I don't think Pep is a long term bet either.

If Liverpool win the Europa league the epl will have 5 teams in next years champs league the only situation where fourth place loses its cl spot is if man city win the cl but finish 5th and Liverpool win the europa if Liverpool fail to win the Europa league but man city win the cl but finish 5th we would have the top 5 all in the cl its only a problem if city win and finish 5th and Liverpool win the europa as the maximum amount of teams allowed in the cl from 1 country is 5.

here's a link to the possible scenarios of champions league depending on who wins what and where they finish I know it's the daily fail, was the first page I looked on though.
