Very true. Wenger has a responsibility and rightly so should take blame. But it's not all him. Our players are constantly underperforming. He spent what 42m on a world class ozil. Who turns up when he wants. Who here really thought he is.

Sorry to be devils advocate but haven't the majority of the starting XI fielded tonight been at Arsenal for a fair while now?

If like Ox or Walcott the player hasn't reached their potential or expected potential isn't it the managers responsibility to move them on? If regardless of their undeniable ability a player simply just doesn't show up when needed, isn't it the managers job to either fix this or move them on?

Lfc fan but is a similar thing with Klopp can blame the players all you want but when backed by the owners regarding transfers and managing of players buck stops with them. can back them if aren't allowed to bring players they want in or the club won't spend within reason to improve the starting XI. but when you are breaking club transfer records and offering players £100,000+ a week and they don't deliver. that's your problem to fix.
