I was at Brighton on Boxing Day and the 5-1scoreline did not surprise me one bit! We were static and torn apart by one long ball. The upside though is I am pretty sure 7 or 8 of those Liverpool players are Klopp signings and the majority all cost £30 mill plus with others over £40mill and two around £70mill . It takes time three years so far but they look great . The question is ‘ is Unai the right man? ‘ . If he is then back him! Don’t judge him on the team he’s been left back him and sell those we don’t need . Some people not on here by the way are saying we have an injury crisis! The worrying thing is our back five today bar Hector was among our strongest . Good as he was playing we are in trouble if we are relying on rob holding to sort the defence out! We have to buy well and cleverly if we can’t splash cash but it’s going to take patience! They were saying get rid of Klopp on Liverpool page a couple of years ago! Now look at him! Way too early to judge and I for one hope he gets time in this knee jerk world.

the pool have been in transition for more years than I care to remember. dick has been at arsenal for 6mths, he needs at least 3 seasons to turn the team around, we have been in decline for years, if the owners open the cheque book (ala lfc) we will once become a force once again, roll on the future.

Good post Trev, it won’t be an overnight fix that’s for sure, look how long it’s taken Liverpool. BUT will we spend big money on a defender or a keeper for that matter, Leno does not look the part to me.

Of course he needs time and I back him totally but he needs to address not simply ignore our awful defence he has, I'm not buying the injury thing totally as teams with supposedly inferior players to ours have gone to Anfield without collapsing like we did, even United under Jose only lost 2 0.
I like Emery very much but I'm not simply up for a continuation of where Arsene left off especially when going away to top clubs, we need to be better and Dick needs to do better defensively which is where out problems have been for years.
It's not acceptable what happend yesterday, we accepted it for years under Arsene before people started to finally complain let's not make that same mistake with Dick, from the first thrashing Dick and his team need to know (it is not acceptable at Arsenal any more)
Emery is the right man for us i'm sure but he needs to know we are not up for more of what we already had before he got here.

Comparing our scoreline to that of the Mancs at Anfield is a tad unfair. Liverpool had 36, yes 36 attempts at goal against Man U and 15 against us, yet scored 5 and good conversion rate - 2 penalties. Had they taken a bit more care against the Mancs, 5 would have been achieved. JM did nothing to keep the score down .
