Not “revisionist history” QTRN, simply someone with eyes and the ability to spot that Emi Martinez was head and shoulders above the bang average Leno.
Only a blinkered, pig-ignorant, egotistical Lego-Haired Wannabe Pep-lite buffoon couldn’t see that.
I don’t mean that rudely about anyone on here that doesn’t agree with me over Martinez - everyone here is entitled to their opinion and I wouldn’t wish to insult them - I reserve that for Artita, a man who has persistently proven not to be up for the job.

Martinez had been at Arsenal 10 years without breaking into the team and displacing Ospina Cech or Leno, Leno got injured and Martinez did brilliantly in his absence.

Niether Leno or Martinez would acceot being second choice moving forward so Arteta was left with a decision, back the man who was his number one before injury or back the man who had deputised so brilliant and hope it wasn't a flash in the pan.

I'm not an Arteta fan but I would have made the same decision as he made and chosen Leno at the time. In hindsight I called it wrong but it was always a 50/ 50 tough call.
