Is Jurgen playing the mind games or do you think that was a genuine comment about the atmosphere at Anfield.

{Ed025's Note - a bit of both i think Bill, he obviously wants to gee up the fans to make the atmosphere that bit more intimidating, but the crowd at Anfield are not as vocal as they used to be mate and when they have been level or losing you can hear the groans and moans with every missed chance or wayward pass, scoring first would be a good plan for Arsenal this Saturday..

Last season at Anfield the fans completely lost the plot with Xhaka and Arsenal and you could see the anger in the faces at Arsenal for making Liverpool look bad and at Xhaka for one of his moments of madness. The Liverpool players followed the fans lead and got angry with Arsenal and almost took all 3 points from 2 0 down.

The Anfield crowd didn't so much lift Liverpool that day as incite them into an angry reaction, Donald Trump would have been envious of them.

Definitely a bit of mind especially at the time he chooses to say it. They have increased the numbers in the stadium so he have waited to see if that is having an impact on the atmosphere. He hardly touched on the game they just played albeit a bit one sided but you won 5-1 so fan’s impact didn’t affect them negatively.
