A question for Ed002. Is there any interest in Özil? I can't see that any club that could afford him would actually want him.

Utd bound imo if he moves, I'd say Bayern but Ancelloti let him go at Real but Mourinho likes Mesut a lot and I'm sure he'd love the chance to get from him what Arsene couldn't.

The performance was ok. No more no less and aginst the "top" teams we would have gotten our arses kicked.
Can someone explain why we score one and then puts the handbrake on. It was darn close that Fulham scored one after 1-0 and all because we stopped playing. It was the same against Villa.

Nowhere does Wenger say that we will spend the money we have and bring in new players. The only thing he says is:
“There are 18 days to go, so that is a long time in the transfer market and we will be active.
“I cannot certify what the number [of players coming in will be] but we will be active until the end, that is for sure.â€
