Who is calling the shots at arsenal?! I've never understood it. All arsenal needed to do for "good business" in this transfer window, was to create a strong spine that we've been missing for so many years. I'm sick and tired of all our players leaving because of the apparent lack of ambition.

Why couldn't we just sign a holding midfielder, someone to back up Ozil, Sanchez, Ramsey or whoever. (Xhaka is not the answer to this) OR, if we're not going to sign anyone else in there at least play coquelin in with Xhaka/ Ramsey as he's the only decent holding mid we've got in my opinion and I actually rate him quite highly! It's also obvious to see we should invest in at least one mean centre back to go with the kolasinac signing. This would challenge the ageing koscielny who admittedly, is still quality at the moment, and be back up in case Mustafi ends up going.

Every fellow arsenal fan I speak to seams to understand that these are the areas we need to improve yet nothing EVER seems to be done about it. We just continue to sign "bargains" or when we do actually spend the money, it's on some kind of small, lacking-in-strength yet extremely technical player who we don't need another of, or youngster nobody's heard of and so on. Wenger does make good signings but somebody at arsenal seems to be ignoring the OBVIOUS areas where we need improvement. I don't know about anyone else but I really have found it exhausting being an arsenal fan these past however many years. Kill me.
