Abou Diaby offered new 2 year extension to his current deal, the new terms on his contract stipulates that he must contribute towards any medical treatment he recieves

The big question is why? he never plays much and is a drain on the clubs wages, I rather he has a contract saying he gets paid per game, a very low £5k a week and the rest made up with bonuses, that way it would be better for the club.

He isn't even worth waiting on. I could see if he had the ability of let's say Cesc or Xavi but was injury prone, but he's average at best. Cut our losses with him

3.) 14 Jul 2013
He should be on a set wage of £10kpw and £50k per appearance. Stays fit he's on £60k per week. If not he's still got cash in his pocket. Think that is fair enough.

It saves the club from signing a player this season freeing up further the 70 million. Abou Diaby and Yaya Sanogo. The professor at his finest! I rate AD but too injury prone and is worth a slight gamble if given an incentive type per week deal as stated above. Yaya Sanogo, in my opinion, had he not had all the set backs would and could still, become world class or at least in a few years be worth a few million. The board and AW must be licking their lips at more profit.

Well I've never heard that one before having to contribute towards any medical bills. That to me sounds like Arsenal are saying you are high risk and we can't get you covered on our medical insurance. ( which they do have for each player before anyone thinks I'm joking) I don't know what to make of this except that they really don't want him but are stuck with him as nobody rates him because of his form.

6.) 14 Jul 2013
Well that blows his wages then

Please at the second post recognise Diaby is not average at best he has a lot off ability, he's strong, a great dribbler, skillful, a good passer and a strong tackler. He has all the attributes to be a top player but his injuries prevent his progress. When he is on form like the Liverpool match last season, the Aston Villa game a few seasons back, he gives us that steel in the midfield and helps with the transition from defense to attack.

I think on form he could get into quite a few teams, he'd be ahead of Anderson, Cleverly, Lucas, Sandro, Parker, Huddlestone, I'd prefer Diaby on his day to Ramires, Ramsey, and Arteta in the holding mid position.

8.) 14 Jul 2013
Second post Diaby fit will start ahead of most players in DMF in the league. He is strong, skillful, a good passer and a good tackler.

9.) 14 Jul 2013
When he's fit Diaby is quality, nurture him back, look after him and let's get a couple more seasons out of him.

10.) 14 Jul 2013
If this is true he will end up owing us money

11.) 15 Jul 2013
I would not think the "analyst" is old enough to have seen Diaby play let alone talking tosh about comparisons
If this rumour about Diaby's contract extension is true, he is Wengers' quality addition ha ha

I think you'll find he has been offered a new 2 year deal as the physio assistant, as he know the treatment table better than anybody else at the Emirates.
And cannot be any worse in keeping our players time out whislt injured short.
