While I don't think spuds are title material, what they do have is a young team with a young dynamic manager and van gaal pelegrini and wenger, the relative dinosaurs of football will find it hard to compete tactically with the likes of poch and klopp as well. With the exception of Maureen ( struggling at this moment ) I don't think the prem has the best managers in europe and the best are outside the prem and the young ones in this league will give the wrinklies a fright. That is the reason it is tight this year, because there isn't a stand out manger or team.

Steve i think your manager is a good one.
I just think that his time at Arseanal has gone a few years longer than it should have. A move to a new club would have seen him become dominant i think. Maybe he should have been 'The Chosen One' instead of dithering dave.

Deep, i think he's a good manager, no great manager but he didn't know when to call time. His decision making is now rocky to say the least and like most when they get old think he's always right. i'm not as old as wenger but as i get older i am noticing my decision making is not as good as it was and i can do as much as i used to, that's why we have to retire, because we are getting less capable, he's going on too long.

{Ed025's Note - have you ever thought of working for "help the aged" steve?.. :)

Have to disagree steve, your manager is a good and once was great i think. He is past his peak is what you're saying and being repetetive and all but i think had he moved to a different club 4,5 years ago only, then he would have improved and learnt to be more flexible. In short he would have reinnovated himself i think. Even now if he were to move to a top club say PSG, he would make them genuine top contenders in europe.
But that's just my opinion and a hypothetical one.

Yes Steve i a Manchester United fan and yes fergie did now when to stop but he also knew where to improve. And i respect your manager for the person he is which is not what you would say about a moureen although mou is also a winner. Even i agree than his time at arsenal has run a bit too long but that doesn't make him bad though.

Herbie until you won the league again so did I. My point is fergie could see his era coming to an end. There won't be another fergie though, as a man, horrible, as a manager, the best ever in England.
