Is this up to date? Was posted at the end of December.

{Ed002's Note - By the start of next season I would expect:

Matt Lacey (G) will leave at the end of the season as a Free Agent
Sead Kolasinac (LB) wants to leave Arsenal and has been offered to Roma by his agent.
Shkodran Mustafi (CB) will leave at the end of the season as a Free Agent.
William Saliba (CB) No future and his time is being wasted at Arsenal - expect a loan in January.
Sokratis (CB) will leave at the end of the season as a Free Agent.
David Luiz (CB) will leave at the end of the season as a Free Agent.
Granit Xhaka (DM)
Dani Cevallos (CM) loan will expire at the end of the season.
Mesut Oezil (AM) will leave at the end of the season as a Free Agent - Fenerbahce are keen - Arsenal want a January loan to subsidise wages and he is being offered around.
Alexandre Lacazette (S)
Folarin Balogun (S) free agent in the summer, Arsenal want him to sign a new contract, "agent" offering him around.

Plus there are other unhappy players who might/ will look to options. }.

{Ed002's Note - It looks pretty much up to date.}

Wow surprising Bayern are looking at Leno. Is it to kindof replace Ulreich or just that he is good player so they have a watching brief ed2? Or is there anything up with Neuer? Fitness and all or even transfer.
Interesting

Thanks ed.

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - They are not 100% happy with their options and Neuer is getting older and has been out injured for a while - although he is back in training. Going forward Leno is a good option for them.}

Oh and our boy Fosu Mensah got on the list but there was one name that really caught my eye and sets the example for all young lads coming through and that was Martin Odegaard, moved too soon to a big club rotted on the bench for a year or so and stagnated his development. Money over playing time at such young age was a terrible mistake. Never seen him play but hope he gets his career on track and gets a good enough shot again.

I think Sessegnon will go on to have a great carrier not because I think he is hugely talented (not that he isn't) but he seems to have a good head, seems to have good people around him. He could easily have moved to a PL club and sat on the bench, play for u-23s but no, he made the decision to play regularly in a more competitive league than the reserves and reject more money and just for that also I hope Fulham get promoted. But that list didn't have the hugely reaped and rated Phil Foden. He is already a media darling in England yet he wasn't there? Do you think it's got anything to do with him being at City and not getting much game time ed1? Or is he too young?

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - it is a lack of first team football. It was based on their importance to the team they played for and the level they were playing at etc. Hence why Donnarumma came top, as he is key and a regular AC Milan, rather than a sub or U23 player.}

Maybe I missed him. Isn't Sessegnon English ed1? If so he didn't make the list I think and neither did Tierney at Celtic (maybe he is older to qualify) .

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - I had to check but yes Tierney is 20 so wouldn't qualify as it was teenagers only.}

Well he probably hours writing those novel like posts Tris.

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, he does put a lot of effort in. He must have almost as little of a life as me to have the time to write them all!}

Snappy will probably be ****ing off for a week if he reads this Tris. I sometimes doubt Shoot might even be a representative of Buendia the way he talks about him every time when mentioning player recruitment 🤣.

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - maybe they are friends? He certainly does tend to talk about him on the slightest excuse. Half the time the thread is about something completely different. He must spend hours coming up with ways to shoehorn Buendia's name into conversations. I bet he is on military history forums on their Falklands Islands threads talking about how Buendia came from Argentina. He has probably befriended people from Norwich on facebook so he can talk to them about him....}

What the Fuchs is wrong with Leicester, right Tris?

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - hahaha I was trying to think of his name earlier when someone said Leicester in their title year didn't let their full-backs attack! My mind went completely blank. How the Fuchs can you forget a name like Fuchs?}

For four he vary rarely plays as RB more of a RWB. James Justin of Leicester is the o my one worth considering as an omission from the list and he too has played very few games as a RB.

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - that was why Justin got left out, he keeps getting shunted over to the left as Leicester have signed so many right-backs. I do wonder what will happen when Ricardo Pereira is back to full fitness? They are going to have 4 first team right-backs. Strange that they bought so many when they have only got youth team left-backs!}

Yes Steve i a Manchester United fan and yes fergie did now when to stop but he also knew where to improve. And i respect your manager for the person he is which is not what you would say about a moureen although mou is also a winner. Even i agree than his time at arsenal has run a bit too long but that doesn't make him bad though.
