Tough watch and made hard work of 10 man CFC again. At this point in the season 3 points are key, big we must take that late scare and lacklustre game as a kick up the arse. Few players need to make quicker more attack minded decisions and let's kick on!

Important three points but we struggled to control the game, giving the ball needlessly away too often. I think Odegaard would help a lot with that. He wasn't even on the bench but hopefully he's soon available.

Fair assessment, Ed. I did like the way we pressed them in the first half, if you want to search for more positives. But, then again, we wasted all those turnovers, so they didn't amount to much.

I'm going to echo the post from Sussex, it was just Spuds but nonetheless its a NLD and they are never easy, and agree we need to cut the mistakes out.
Big Vic had a blinder but needs to be more of a thug against defenders, after the criticism I gave him I thought Saka did well also.
The save from Raya was out of this world.
Chelsea next, 9 games after that. come on lads one last push.

Have we gone for a more hard working midfield. i had read Ode could be dropped for big away games but not sure if that or injured a bit

With potential signings coming through, I think our squad is looking in great shape. I am not convinced about the Noni links and think that would be a bad choice of money spent, I also don't know much about the CB that we are apparently chasing, but they would be the gaps that I can see.

Licking my lips at the possibilities of our starting 11
Defence: Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel, Myles Lewis-Skelly
Midfield: Martin Zubimendi, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze
Attack: Bukayo Saka, Viktor Gyokeres, Rogrygo
Yes it's gossip and yes some names will change but to me we get the midfield we've needed and the shift towards an exciting attack looks like we will be attacking king fast and strong goal threats across the board and in tight difficult games.
That's a change in mentality and tactics for me, a team that looks like it wants to win and be solid T the back.
Just need the C next to Rice and i'm over the moon.
Think of what that bench and cover that looks like. It's huge. I'm sure it will make Ode and Martinelli more effective as Martinelli is a caged beast. This could unlock him as he's gone backwards. Excited and hoping we see that change. I know it's paper talk but it shows what changes could lead to.
