What do you think goes through a players mind when he sees speculation of his club in the transfer market for his position?

Leno for example. ; what's he thinking about all the Ramsdale fuss?

For most of us, when our bosses start looking for people in our position, we're bricking it. Do footballers even care with all the money they earn?

My guess is Lenos first instinct is that he would feel offened.

Next will be the natural fight or flight response where he either sets out to prove people wrong or looks for somewhere he is more appropriated .

Everyone likes a fighter who comes back better than ever.

You also have to consider the probability that he has expressed his intention to move on for whatever reasons. So he could well be in the know before these rumours hit the papers. We just don’t know.
