Ed

"Cool electrical appliances we like to be seen with?"

Its got to be the three foot twin blade electric ceiling fan that blows hot and cold.

The height of cool :-)

{Ed025's Note - sounds like ozil to me.. :)

Gnarby is now back in training. That boy is very special I think, he should be our right winger for the next decade or more. He has the lot I think and knows his position very well. Big big fan

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So am I but wenger obviously doesn't trust him.

Wenger has sung his praises big time Steve

He's been injured for months, before that he was 18 and getting the odd fixture and before that Walcott was fit.

Has anybody seen our new badge?

Just posted it on 'Sightings'.

Brilliant! Our new motto should be victory through recovery!

Wenger said a couple of days ago he was back training with the group so yep he's back.

May take a few games off the bench to start with.

I think he is the player we miss the most.

Pace, goals, width.

Our best player, IMO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed Dags, I know there are quite a few on here wh disagree, but I think Theo scares the life out of defenders and even if he's not 100% makes plenty of room for others to score.

Cant wait to see him with DW and Sanchez, I think that's a front 3 that will scare the life out of defenders and they've all got goals in them.

Totally agree 337.

Awesome front 3 in terms of pace.

Goals aplenty hopefully.

Discussion point on the Poll - if Ed002 would be so kind to have the electrical appliances and this one running ;)

Who is the answer for DM?

Is it Chambers?
Is it a PL experienced player?
Is it a more defensive minded box to box?
Is it a world class talent?
Is it an up and coming great?

Who do you think?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Oct 2014 14:08:44
The answer is Khedira

Agree0 Disagree0

I used to think khedira but fear with the injuries he has had he would spend more time on the treatment table.
If it's true and Cabaye isn't happy in Paris he's my choice.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye is Arteta 2.0 - not a DM but has played there because of his distribution.

Schneiderlin would fulfil the role we need better than him I think. Availability wise though - its a no-no.

I think we need a Bender Bro - one of them.

Sven - to sit back defend do the dirty work
Lars - also to sit back but be more of a creator too with good distribution.

We all know Wenger's love for Lars and Germans - maybe he could be convinced!

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Oct 2014 16:14:31
Cabaye is a much better player than arteta ever was, but he's not the answer

We need someome whose big, physical, imposing, quick, intimidating with ideally with a nasty streak.
Wanyama or Carvalho for me but i'd take schneiderlin

I certainly don't think chambers is a right back though and he seems to have the attributes to play dm. If only wr had jenkinson here.

Agree0 Disagree0

The german benders would be amazing together. Any team with them two is twice as hard to beat. I was a massive cabaye fan and still am. I feel we should of signed him over ozil. He can tackle pass and score. Very under rated player

A) Schneiderlin

B) Carvalho

C) Wanyama

AG how about this guy, he is huge, physical, imposing, quick, intimidating and definately has a nasty streak, he weighs in at a tasty 235lb.

His name is Anthony Joshua, does it matter if his passing ain't that great? :-)

Ed002 how about we try to guess what your job is? You can tell us if we're even close or as far away as we could be like spurs and CL football.
Ok I think your a journalist of some sort or anothger, how close?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Oct 2014 14:59:41
Ed002 is Eva Carneiro :-D
Seriously though I think he is a financial advisor of some sort
either that or he is artificial intelligence

On the injury front there's never a great time to have injuries but between now and the next international break isn't the worst either.
The fixtures between now and then are as kind as they could be and it will give others a chanceto shine.
A close to full team against utd would be nice as we owe them one, HUNDRED

On today's poll re Chambers and DM.
Love Chambers and think he's a brilliant signing but were all those years of austerity so we could have millions in the bank and try to boil water in a saucepan on the stove to make a cup of tea instead of buying a kettle?
If you're skint fair enough needs must to get by but if your loaded, just buy a really good rapid biol top of the range kettle :-(
Mr angry north of Watford, and who wouldn't be :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

G62- had to throw away my rapid boil kettle was far too noisy!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Our Kenwood KMix in yellow does the job and looks cool when I pose with it.}

I dream of a Kmix but never expect to have one, a kettle that whistles when its ready would be nice, the pound shops are full of um, maybe we can pick up a slightly damaged one for free

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Maybe you could just go to the electrical store and hang out by them?

Again, as everyone was really good yesterday with the "sell to buy" day on Banter yesterday, I would be open to discussion on "cool electrical appliances we like to be seen with" today if anyone wants.

We have done the kettle, but I will start it off with another favourite of mine. Our new "Dyson Hot and Cool" in electric pink is another appliance I am happy to pose with. Our plain black Vitamix doesn't do it for me at all. Happy to use it but would not want to be photographed near it.}

I don't think chambers is a rb, the amount of times I've seen him play there he ends up to centrally when attacking.

Now I do like chambers, whether he'll be a cb or cdm, I think the earlier we get him settled in a position the better.

At the minute I know it's not that simple with the injuries we've got, but I think bellerin should be back up rb, with chambers been given a more central role.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would like to own or even just be photographed with even if It meant I was in the back ground and really hard to pick out a Nutribullet.
I'd like to just hold one even if only for a few minutes

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as I like Chambers you can see his not the finished acticle, his display last night for England proves this too many mis timed tackles and numerous times giving the ball away to a lesser opposition. Arsenal need to bring in a proven defensive midfield player prefablely with PL experience, don't know the answer to this one perhaps another discussion point?
