Evening Christopher

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 23:26:31
Sure have old pal. Now about this G62 and dags bloke . They both good guys?

As regards to the whole Stamford bridge debacle. As a neutral ( at least between us and chavs) do you think the FA are sick to the back teeth of mour. Got that whole eva carnerio thing going down as well . Wenger is a first class moaner no doubt always has been but don't you think that moutinho is taking the p**s always trying to tread the line and see how far he can push it?!

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 23:46:46
Evening Growbun and welcome.

Mate, pay no attention to Chris.

He's like a stray cat who keeps coming in your garden.
He shouldn't be there, but we like him so we feed him pieces of ham from time to time.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - and he likes to piss on our strawberry,s.. :)

24 Sep 2015 00:15:58
Ed,

Mrs Dags said to me the other day, "your obsession with cats is really annoying and I have packed your bags".

I think she is wrong to kick meeoowwt.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 21:47:38
I thought you were not interested in small cups lol full strength against a 2nd string spurs. Mind you its the only cup you have a chance of winning you won't finish top 4 and europe is not worth taking about. You all know when it matters in the league the points are ours like last season enjoy the Mickey mouse cup little boys lol

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - credit to you for coming on here raver..i will be honest mate if i were you i would have crawled back under my rock by now.. :)

23 Sep 2015 21:59:16

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 22:02:59
Thank you for your kind words. I suppose that's the nearest we will get too and your way of saying, well played arsenal, we were beaten yet again by a better team.

{Ed025's Note - love it sooper..

23 Sep 2015 22:34:28
Yep raver it was a first team arsenal squad or at least it was when Sanchez came on and restored the natural order. But yeah your B team did ok.... Out of the cup I do believe.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 22:34:28
Spot on about full strength Raver.

I was surprised myself when Wenger only rested Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla and Ozil.

oh and a quick question whilst your here, when you build that new stadium do you think they'll put a full size pitch in it with proper turf or will you go with that shoddy little thing you've got now?

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 22:51:17
Ah raver this coming from a club that wishes they could do what we do every season(finish in the top four) for just one season while we the fans are bored of it and want a proper title run. Keep wishing you were more like us bud keep wishing.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 22:54:44
Oh, bless him.

Let him have his moment of g......

Oh wait, Sorry Raver I forgot we won again.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 23:01:02
I tell you stoner that pitch is dangerous them advertising screens about 2 foot from the edge of the pitch is shocking. A very poor venue indeed. Tbh they defo needed a new ground because white hart lane is and has always been rubbish. Round of applause to Spurs to be fair for finally carching up ten years to late 🙏🏻

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Sep 2015 23:48:17

You are new here and already slagging of Spurs.

You are going to fit right in mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 21:44:01
At work so listening on radio, at least I can watch it tomorrow and not kick the recorder this time. Just keeping the little club down the road down yet again. I sure raver will be on to congratulate us like only raver can do. At least know they can go away and concetrate on their upcoming relegation battle.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - thats not nice steve...very true..just not nice.. :)

23 Sep 2015 21:38:59
Just look at those Spuds. What a decline: highest scoring player in the league last year and now - not a single player of their own on the scoresheet. Long may this 'dip in form' continue

Believable0 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 21:33:37
What is Flamini on tonight?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - a hattrick.. :)

23 Sep 2015 21:48:57

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 21:49:56
Ed haha

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 21:51:17
And that's why Arsene didn't waste millions on a striker this summer, he knows he has all he needs in Flamini and he never once tried to get an opponent sent off either.
Class well masked

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 22:03:17
Don't forget chambers scored too 👍. I know Flamini is the main man up top but Chambers has a goal every other game this season

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 21:28:19

Q If the red card given to Gabs was wrong , then surely his reaction shouldn't even be discussed. No red card no reaction.

Such saying :) x

Believable0 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 07:39:15
Bambam,

Discussed on here?

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 08:01:39
I thought the same mate, its a bit like the council admitting your parking fine was invalid but still chasing you for the late payment fee,
Crazy.
We were pipunished on Saturday and Chelsea will be punished over the next 3 games, let that be an end to the whole sorry mess.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 08:07:37
G62,

There's nothing worse than being pipunished.

Hehe, sorry mate.

Day off so I'm in a mischievous mood, lol.

Love you really mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 08:31:42
The whole thing started with a refereeing error where it would seem that he and 3 other officials in the ground saw nothing.

What happens after that clearly would not have happened had the incident been seen.

Gabriel's action in kicking Costa were wrong and as a stand alone incident you could not argue the sending off.

To be punished in losing 3 points and a player for 3 games as a result of the behaviour displayed by Costa has maybe been deemed, rightly to me, by the FA as a somewhat unfair outcome.

We have still lost 3 points but Chelsea now lose Costa for what are actually 3 games on paper against Newcastle, Southampton and Villa which could have been much tougher and without him still winnable.

I would rather have the 3 points and Costa not be banned but it's done.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 08:42:40
Oh I see,

See my reply below :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 08:55:47
I hadn't noticed that Dags :-) that is funny, they like pippunishment up em captin mannering Sir :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 08:59:22
Top post Stoner, totally agree.

Like I posted yesterday, if the referee, after the Gabs kick, pulled Costa and Gabs to one side, gave them a final warning, it would have all been sorted there and than.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 09:17:30
You just invented a new one mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 09:55:55
Wow can't wait to tell my kids, they already thinks I'm amazing because they keep saying it to each other every time I say or do something.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - you certainly amaze me every day g62. I am constantly amazed you are able to operate a computer ;o)

23 Sep 2015 10:17:03
Wow chairs Ed I've just got a nack of for it I guess :-)
Mind you my IT classes I ran didn't go as well as expected, some people it turns out just don't like being tug and taking their turn at being it.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 12:18:10
I'm not suprised g62, I guess most people didn't have a problem running from u, but running after must of been the hard.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 06:57:51
I beiieve Gabriel is still being charged in respect of his behaviour after being sent off. Talking into account that he shouldn't have been sent off in the first place and missed part of the match, the FA should let him off with a warning and put the ref in the dock.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 07:41:49
I think his reaction to the red is being treated as a separate incident to the red itself, so I think he will be charged.

But, you make a fair point.

An 'innocent' man will always react.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 09:23:28
From the reports I have read Gabriel will only be up for a fine if he is found guilty of this offence. No suspension will be involved. Therefore, as I am sure he could afford the fine, who cares?

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 12:55:12
While its great new that the red has been taken away i do feel we have gotten off lightly, i know costa should not have been on the pitch however it does not excuse Gabs petty reaction and it was a 2nd yellow all day long and would have still ment he would have walked.

Obvs we will take it, but i do hope that wenger sits him down and tells him that reacting like that at any point is not acceptable and even more so when you are on a yellow card.

I also worry that player will try and take advantage and intentionally try and get Gab to bite in the future.

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Sep 2015 14:45:28
Don't be daft breal, it was all Costa's fault.

Gab was totally wronged and should take no responsibility whatsoever.

:)

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 06:52:48
The poor refereeing against Chelsea, makes you wonder what the result would have been if Costa had been sent off and Gabriel had stayed on.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 05:08:56
How about Beilik starting today at CDM. Would you be happy with that selection. At least he'll move around better than Arteta and Flamini..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

23 Sep 2015 06:54:16
It appears that he needs more time playing in his own age group, before he makes the move to the first team squad.

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Sep 2015 23:49:15
Arsene Wenger getting a divorced. Always a sad thing to see! Wonder if this had had any effect on the management of the team. Not saying it has it it's an excuse but must be a difficult time for our gaffa.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 06:14:11
He might have been happy about it, I certainly was when I got divorced.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 07:54:42
Lol that's very true

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 00:43:34
I think the FA decisions put the Chelsea game into a different light than many people in the media (and even on this site) have been trying to place it. Paulista was not in the wrong - at the time (admittedly on TV) it seemed he had done nothing much - Dean did not see it - he had to look at the linesman who was at least 25 metres away and maybe even with an obstructed view.
So, Paulista was not "naïve" as many have said.
Also Arsenal were not naïve and did not "fall into the same old traps" or fall back to the same old Arsenal ways. We were on the wrong end of terrible refereeing and no tactic or behaviour by any players can plan against that.
I thought we actually played very well with 11 in the 1st half and 10 men in the second half, apart from the free kick goal.

We are still 3 points ahead of Chelsea (better than many would have expected at the start of the season when we looked at the 1st 6 games we had to face) and only still 5 behind city (that is probably as good as we could have hoped for at the start of the weekend).

So cheer up everyone. If we get decent referees from now on we will improve! And if Chelsea get decent referees, they are going to need another striker.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 04:24:11
The one thing I agree with you on is dean didn't see it. But we fell into the honey trap, whatever has gone since. Gab was guilty of naivety and some how thankfullyfor us he has been let off that much. Probably in my opinion, because the referee was so poor and they will probably make him pay in the future. We will see over the next few weeks if we are able to kick on or we are back to our old ways.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 07:45:31
If Mike Dean didn't see it, and he was 5 yards away, I can't understand how the linesman could see it.

I may be wrong, but I think Dean gave Gabs a red purely based on Costa's reaction, which is wrong.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 09:22:01
Did anyone actually see Gabriel kick Costa? I was only watching on the TV (via the internet) but they showed a slow motion close up and it did not seem clear to me. For anyone who was at the game, did he really kick Costa?
If he did not, then how can we say he was guilty of anything more than what he had already received the Yellow for.

Agree1 Disagree0
