Happy New Year lads. We will always be the true reds of the BPL (Liverpool), but you come a close second. Have a drink for me as I think I'll be staying in tonight plotting which pants I should name 'the lucky one' since my old one has failed me in the last two games ;).

I don't underestimate Cardiff, just hope Wenger doesn't either with the amount of players who are being reported as injured, sod resting players because we have Tottenham, get 3pts and get out of the FA Cup please

Believable0 Unbelievable0

100% mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree, well said. We would only get drawn to Man city or United in the next round.

Seems all of a sudden we have a super long injury list. anyone care to comment

Gibbs, Ozil, Ramsey, Walcott, Giroud, Wilshire, Sagna

How come? or is Wenger jusy resting players and avoiding a fine?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That crossed my mind as well- having "injured" players so he can rest them- at least I hope so.

What a great 2013

What a fantastic run we have been on.how many points were we behind the spurs last season?

In the summer we signed mezut f****** ozil right in front of Daniel levy after them selling bale to Madrid, "priceless"!

The spurs have another new manager after spending millions.

And finally we end the year top of the league

happy new year gooners, including you PAUL

Lewandowski is the special player

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You finally got something right, we have had a great year!

Happy New Year to you too Malaga, now can we please refrain from the absolute tripe guesses in the January transfer window?!

I have it from a very unreliable source namely me! We might have a sneaky bid for Michu in the window

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would like it, but he is out for 6 weeks I believe so probably not going to happen.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would you take Berbatov for 6 months?

I've been thinking about it, and I must admit I think we can do much worse in terms of finding a stop gap until the summer.

Pros:
- He has Premier League experience
- Not cup-tied for Chapions League
- Oozes class
- Good finisher
- Cheap and a free agent in the summer

Cons:
- Not young
- Not fast
- Not a great work rate

I would say yes, thoughts?

Have a Happy New Year everyone!
Peace,
Trinidad-Gooner

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nah not for me Trinny,

Hes just a foreign version of Bendtner lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be more than happy if he stays where he is, thanks all the same.

Completely agree with all your con's though, which for me, overrules any pro's. He may be a good finisher and oozes class, but he is extremely lazy, doesn't track back, is disinterested most of the time and his wages i'd imagine are pretty high.

Match him and Bendtner, and the only difference is the class and finishing ability. I'd sooner us sign Rickie Lambert TBH.

Sorry but not feeling it for Berbatov, we have to be way beyond stop gaps. Look how much success Chavski are having with Eto'o.

Agree0 Disagree0

I want someone who will give everything for Arsenal. I don't see Berb doing this. I would prefer a younger, pacey player

Happy New Year my fellow Gooners, we have plenty of injuries for the cardiff game which I see strange. However expect Gnabry Podl Bendtner to start these games, vermalen/monreal I am sure one of them will fill in the RB, give Fab a game, Chezzer doing a couple of mistakes from 2 games so can thrown in.

Starting X1

Fabianski
Sagna Mert Kosc Monreal
Jack Arteta
Gnabry Podloski
Carzola
Bendtner

Banter Please

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Szcz

Jenk Mert Kos Sagna

Arteta Flam

TR/Theo Caz Gnabry/Podolski

Podolski/Bendtner

Ramsey, Ox, Ozil, Giroud, and Gibbs are all ruled out.

Monreal, Verm, Rosicky, Wilshere and Theo are questionable.

The game I thought we would miss Ozil was the Newcastle game, Cardiff we should be ok and the spurs game IMO doesn't matter, Wenger can rest the lot, keep the 'key' players away from injury, I expect Jenks, TV, Monreal, Podolski, Arteta all to start

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Couldn't agree more BG about the fa cup game, its against spurs which makes it that bit tougher to do but play the reserves and use the free weekends that follow to our advantage.
CL will sort its self out as beat Bayern over two legs and we have to have real chance of going all the way or go out and free to concentrate on the league.
The premier league position has to be top top priority for us, we can't do 3 campaigns that end well

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes agreed 62, Wenger should not worry about the FA Cup, so what spurs would have the bragging rights,, big deal we have had them for the last 16 years. No better chance then continue moving forward to win the league, as you say, get through B Munich and who knows what will happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Gents, let's not underestimate Cardiff.
They have a new caretaker-boss in place and a tyrant of an owner to keep happy, so their players may well be up for a fight.
We need to be at our best.

Agree0 Disagree0

Under estimate anyone at our peril! Surely we learned that last season DG.
Crash Helmut on so here goes!
The Cardiff game is much much bigger than the spurs game

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree G62,

If we beat Cardiff than lose to spurs I wouldn't be too unhappy.

BFG is the man!

The last home match he plays for us there will be very few dry eyes at the Emirates

He will leave Arsenal an absolute legend

BFG, Kos and Sagna will go down as 3 of the best signings Wenger has ever made

The more I see BFG lead our back line, the more I'm convinced our trophy drought is nearing its end

Happy New Year folks!

What a 2013, the year of the Big. F***ing. German.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

31 Dec 2013 08:42:54
Happy new year to you and your family buddy

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the BFG bit. but Sagna, not a chance, he is so far down the list he is out of sight

Agree0 Disagree0

He is turning into a legend ain't he, him and KOS as a pair are just perfect, proof is in the pudding that apparently when them two have played the full 90minutes we haven't lost in all of 2013, I don't know how true that is but seems legit.

Could you imagine though if the BFG scored the goal that sealed us the title? That would be extra special wouldn't it :)

I love being a gooner I really do lol happy new year to all my fellow gooners!

Agree0 Disagree0

He is fast becoming our new big Tony, OK maybe not fast :-)
But what they lack in pace they both more than make up for in ability and commitment.
Mertascker will lift the premier league tittle for us, its when not if

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers guys

Essex, love being a Gooner too mate

Malaga, all the best to you and your family as well buddy
