I am very pleased Ramsey is coming back, I was talking the friend who lives in London this morning, it seems he has recovered 3 or 4 games earlier than expected so great news. I had no reason to disbelieve my friend, he is very pro wenger and won't have a bad word against him, but back in very early Feb he gad been told a comeback was very very unlikely.

Well done AR for getting back fit

Still want to see him on the pitch though :-)

I'm sure everyone's aware we've got chelski in the FA youth cup semi final on Thursday night. It's only 5 quid a ticket, think it would be really good to get as many along as possible to make some noise for the young guns! Any takers?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great shout mate
i won't be thier because of the distance and work, but I hope some local gooners make us proud

Here's a deal that I think could make a lot of sense

Arsenal have a striker that seems to want to leave to return to native France for personal reasons (Giroud), and PSG have a striker that may not be all that happy playing second fiddle to Ibra, or being forced down the wings (Cavani). I'm also pretty sure Giroud said he wanted to play for PSG at some point in his career

So, would a Giroud plus money deal for Cavani make a lot of sense for both clubs!? Arsenal would get a top, top striker who would be able to finish off chances, and PSG get a very decent backup who could eventually become the main striker for quite some time (Giroud is more than capable of cutting it in the French league, eg. his Montpellier days)

The realism is that I don't think PSG would be so stupid as to sell Cavani, unless they are offered a ridiculous sum of money, and he will probably stay until Zlatan retires, then become PSG's main striker for many, many years. Meanwhile Arsenal continue developing the likes of Sanogo

You can dream though, can't you!?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The deal for cavani will probaby be. 60 mill for cavani and gift them giroud, just so they can release him from his contract for fun.

Agree0 Disagree0

Against chelsea I thought he was poor, he couldn't trap wind

Maybe he'll get some minutes towards the end of the game, just a boost to have him back. I think all of us are amazed because Banbury's info was looking more and more likely to be true.

Agree0 Disagree0

When I first heard the rumour ( not from Banbury) I was 99.9% certain it was designed to cause unrest amongst the fans and feed the flames of frustration, but as times gone on I must admit I've been having serious doubts my original conspiracy theory judgement.
Phew they really out to get us!I was getting worried there for a minute

I guess with our injury record it's an easy theory to get us to believe, equally until we see him running around on the pitch with no set backs we'll still have a little doubt it's really true.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only prob is, it will take him a few games to get up and running and to find his fitness, so I don't think he will make too much difference because we only have a few games left.

Great to have him back though.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree DG but if he is only half the player he was before he got injured between now and May he will be a big asset.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely G62

Can you imagine if Arsenal were under investigation for signing young players and given a transfer ban?

as it is we impose a mandatory transfer ban until the last day of the window, if FIFA impose a ban on Arsenal, it will be the biggest party for those persons running the club.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We can only hope Laker ;-) let's be honest if a prem club is gunna be investigated it will be arsenel :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Laker I think you will find wenger runs the club very honestly
we should be proud to have such a top manager, a lot of top clubs would snap him up if he desides to go.
i hope he stays

Agree0 Disagree0

CTR you can hope for that and I will hope moyes gets that 25 year contract extension.

Ramsey set to make his comeback after 3 months out. In other news, Ramsey will be injured for the remainder of the season.

Its that time of year when next seasons ticket sales become due and we are being linked with a host of top players. We all know the procedure by now and we will only sign young players, players out of contract or cheaper players with potential. Ozil was an exception as Wenger knew we needed a boost.

I am concerned with the summer break, as we could need: A new manager, a new right-back, at least one possibly two centre backs and at least one possibly two strikers.

This season I am praying that none of our two remaining centre backs get injured nor Giroud. If we lose any of these players we don't have any fit quality replacements.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Robbie
no one mentioned ozil,
i have never heard arsene say we are after this big name, season tickets will never go short.i know i'm on the waiting list.
We r curently 4th in the league, semi final of the fa cup and still we like to focus on myths and roumers.amazing
i worry I arsenal loose wenger,

People's Christian names are quite funny really. Some of my mates have names given to them because of the time of year they were born like my mate Noel was born at Christmas, a girl friend I know was born at Easter and her name is bunny, but my Irish friend Pancake!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Golds,

I have a mate called "Bank Holiday" and his surname is Monday, lol.

That made me smile Golds :-)

Guys

My only thought on Mourinho is that to manage a club like Arsenal you need dignity and humility. Arsene has these in abundance.

Look at the difference. We have the wrong player sent off. Yes Arsene was angry about it but that was it.

Chavs have a couple of decisions go against them, one a very clearly correct red card. Mourinho invades the pitch, stomps his feet, squeals like a baby and demands the ref shouldn't officiate another Chavs game

Truth is that behaviour is why he isn't managing Man United now. Any Chav that thinks he would have turned Man United down to come to them is deluding themselves. Mourinho just didn't meet Man United "dignity" requirements although given the choice it was clear he wanted to go there rather than back to the Bridge

Mourinho sums Chavski up. They were a normal bloke who won the lottery and could suddenly buy and get what they wanted. Sadly they haven't learnt about how to behave in a dignified and stylish manner. They're stilll Chavs, proof money can't buy you class.

That's why Mourinho suits them.

I've raised this point to a number of Chav fans and not one of them has a sane answer. My final sentence of the conversation has always been the same - "Must be nice to have a manager who wants to be somewhere else and be second choice!

Funny how they go quiet or try to bleat some childish answer that is no more than delusional excuse.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - it is not a delusional excuse, he wanted to return to Chelsea, the gutter press just like making up nonsense about Man Utd being everyone's big desire. No one wanted to follow Ferguson, it is that simple. The job was always a poison chalice.}

Well, I would like to see how long this love affair with chelsea will last.

Clearly over his 3 year cycles he has never had to deal with a dip in form, and when his teams do badly he is sacked, or what they call mutual understanding.

I do not think of him as a bad person, but his showmanship does need to bring other managers names and club names to benefit his agenda.

would be good to see how chelsea progress now that only liverpool, city and psg are in their way.
