Won't change the result though

Well they should kick Zagreb out and give us the three points for cheating. I thought they looked a little pumped, wouldn't have beaten us without the aid of drugs

08 Oct 2015 09:24:23
The player will be punished but I'm sure they must have tested more than one player and if the rest were OK the result should stand.
We're bigger than that, unless our players tested positive for sleeping pills its not our issue because one man didn't beat us in Zargreb we did that all by ourselves.

Surely there is a precedent for this! Bernice from Troop 417 was found to have steroids and a low grade Beaver Tranquilizer in her system and her team was thrown out of the tournament! Okay it was Dodgeball but why aren't our legal team using this to get Zagreb thrown out? :) COYG

I don't understand dodgeball but I can't understand why anyone would get an advantage from tranquilizing her beaver.

What's your predictions for our top targets at striker, centre back and defensive mid in January?

I know we're still a long ways away from the window, but, not going to lie, I'm up to January on my fifa 16 career and I want to make my signings as realistic as possible.

As others have said, Wenger knows Wilshere and Welbeck will be back, so I don't expect much January acquisitions.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Oct 2015 23:14:09
I think Jack Wilshere will be like a big January 2016 signing after returning from injury, I also feel he will be Like a big summer 2016 signing after returning from injury and January 2017 getting Jack back will feel like yet another big signing.
Who says we don't virtually spend every window.

I don't believe we are looking for a centre nack, as we have 4.
Unless someone becomes available for the defensive midfield area, I think Wenger will continue with Coquelin, Arteta & Flamini, as well as Cazorla playing deep and the returning Wilshere.
A forward is the position I believe Wenger will do his best efforts to make a signing.
I suggest other signings will be made in the summer window, when Flamini's contract expires. Ospina may push for a move. I am not sure if Arteta's contract expires in the summer, but it should! The same goes of Rosicky. Left-back is a position I would consider next summer, Did Monreal extend his deal? Is Gibbs good enough?

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Oct 2015 10:21:24
The striker situation will depend on how Theo does IMO if he continues to improve we will stick with him and Olly so as not to get in the way of his progress then reevaluate in the summer.

William Carvalho if he recovers from his injury. And we're not beaten to him. And we bid for him. Bid enough that is.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Oct 2015 15:19:52
Yeah that's true. I'm sure the lovely ed002 has stated we are waiting for Carvalho to come back from injury and then we'll monitor his form and possibly bid for him

Has anybody seen the Roy Keane interview?

Reporter: "Roy, is Robbie Keane available for selection?".

Roy: "why wouldn't he be?".

Reporter: "well, his wife's just had a baby".

Roy: "He didn't have the baby did he?
"So, unless he's breastfeeding he will be ok".

Love it.

Not sure I agree.

Klopp is a decent manager, but not sure if any of the big boys, like Barca, Madrid and Bayern would ever come knocking at his door.

He's had 2 managerial jobs, Mainz and Dortmund.

Whilst he did OK at Mainz, once they got relegated and he couldn't get them promoted, he 'walked'.

He won The Bundesliga twice, and that's no mean feat, but some would argue, he only did it while Bayern were rebuilding, once the rebuild was complete, he couldn't compete and 'walked' away.

He has been in charge of some terrific players, Lewandowski, Reus, Bender and Subotic, but once sold, lesser players, like Immobile and Jojic were brought in, to lesser success.

He has the nucleus of a good team at Liverpool, and will undoubtedly, cherry pick the German market, ala Wenger years ago with the French market, providing The Liverpool Transfer Committee allows it.

I like the guy.
He will be a major plus for The Premier League.

He will also get the full backing of Liverpool supporters, that goes without saying but, I think the Liverpool job is at least a 2/3 year rebuild, and if he 'walks' away, the famous 'You'll never walk alone' will get changed to "You'll always walk alone", because I don't think any top club will want him.

Just my opinion mind.

Agree0 Disagree1

To be fair part of Bayern's rebuild involved gutting Dortmund, but fair points. He has appeal in that he is sort of the anti-wenger type candidate and if we ever change - and I hope we don't for a few more years - it would be quite nice to go all young and rock'n roll wouldn't it?

Stoner,

I remember years ago when Rooney asked Fergie for a transfer.

I was walking past Old Trafford on match day, and people were burning effegies of Wayne Rooney.

I thought it was a bloody disgrace, until I realised it was actually a 'spud-u-like' stand.
