Hi- I am not a Arsenal fan but a Bristol City fan, any way I work in UK Office of Unidad Editorial, who publish Marca and I have just seen a story that will be published tommorows edition ONLY IF Gareth Bale deal is not completed today. In an attempt to discredit Spurs.

This story suggests that Real are willing to sell Di Maria or Ozil, and will consider a large bid for Benzema, even against the players wishes (as they have come out in the media stating that they will be staying.) Once the Bale deal is concluded.

However Spurs and Daniel Levy are purposly delaying the Bale deal as they have become aware of this and have every intention to sell bale in final hours of the transfer window to ensure that these players do not arrive at Arsenal. Thefore there is only slim chance of them leaving.

You have to admire Daniel Levy for his buisness tactic's and if I were a Arsenal fan I would only want one signing and that would be Daniel Levy himself.

I do feel for you guys as you have has your hopes dashed so many times and around 8-12 years ago you were the team playing the best football. Anyway good luck.

1.) Well done spurs fan; infact, you mite be bale posting as bristol city fan!.

I think he has done most of the harm this transfer window with that ridiculous fee for bale, while being hypocritical and putting low bids for players he wishes to buy.

He's the sort of guy, you respect, but not the sort of guy you want to know.

Baldini is the real wizard for them. in Europe Levy has rubbed soo many people the wrong way. its bound to create enemies.

as far as Real are concerned. This bale deal won't stop, they will keep coming and using Spurs as a feeder club, Lamela is next.

Also I applaud spurs for the purchases, but should have kept some for that stadium they are yet to build. 450 mill does not grow on trees.

3.) Surely RM and Arsenal can broker the deals subject to the Bale transfer going through ao all the paperwork is in place and ready? Ed?

{Ed022's Note - Of course they can. However, a few bridges have been burnt and Real Madrid are not rushing to do Arsenal any favours...}

4.) If RM need the money from these sales to finance the Bale deal and if Spurs do not give them enough time to do this, won't RM just cancel the Bale deal?
Where will that leave Spurs? (With a title challenging team this year, then bankruptcy?)
If you look at RM, apart from for PR reasons, they really do not need Bale.
