Would anyone else if they were Wenger put the war chest plus money from out going players on a bid for bale.
1.) Never! No one player is worth that money, the spurs have done brilliant business by replacing one fantastic player with 3 or 4 very good signings.
2.) I would not bid 100 million for Ronaldo.
The only player I would genuinely think is worth his price tag is 250mill for messi.
He is a team player. And he would make the 10 around him much better than they are.
not saying barcelona don't have superstars, but if you look at games with him and without him, its evident how much he impacts their gameplay.
anyway in short the answer is, why buy bale, when you can build a team with World class players.

10 men, a goal down at home to villa! Sad times. We can go blue in the face over Wenger Knows or Arsene Out, the fact is he is at the moment our manager and the last roll of the optimistic dice is that this day will ridicule us and Arsene puts in some serious work before the window closes. However we don't look very attractive now to potential talent.
I want The Arsenal I once was proud of back! I want to see us breaking from defending corners. Getting that adrenaline race through my body watching a rather fast black man burst past the last defenders with his own team mates struggling to keep up then passing it into the net round the keeper!
