I think Benedikt Howedes would be the ideal replacement for Vermaelen. World cup winner, another German.Can cover CB and LB, but not only cover, he can be pushing first team players for those spots. Good age 26, but not sure how much he would cost and what his contract situation is.

Does anyone know what the Citroen sponsorship deal gives us and when does it end. I heard Manutd are getting a ridicolous amount of money for their Chevrolet deal.
1.) I'm sure the guy that authorised the ridiculous mega deal was sacked soon after due to it.
2.) Yeah he was sacked on the spot! That is not a deal to use as a reference for comparison at all, the guy at Chevy ballsed it up massively. No idea about the Citroen deal though.
3.) Read it's a renewal deal. Basically there using arsenals name to promote cars in china and other parts in Asia in return for them supplying us with a huge fleet of cars for use by arsenal employes on official business. Don't know if any money is involved as article never stated it. Hope that helps
