Ed, is it possible we could use Vela's buy back clause as a 'makeweight' for any potential Griezmann deal (seems unlikely to me)? and is Joel Campbell going to be in the squad next year or loaned out again?

{Ed002's Note - Any "deal" for Griezmann will have nothing to do with any "buy back" clause in another players contract. No decision will have been taken about Joel Campbell yet.}

If we do sign Fabregas. Do you think he could play as a centre forward? as a 'false nine'.

Maybe but certainly not if we don't have Walcott and a pacey left winger.
2.) Wenger has done a interview on Eurosports, about the world cup, and in that interview he says that Spain always have the option to play Cesc as a centre forward, so he obviously feels he can play the position. Would he play there for us, very doubtful, but interesting nevertheless!

Looks like we're close to signing Flamini again. I think he could do a decent job as a back up and there's no real risk associated with the deal. The only disappointment is it looks like we won't get a world class defensive mid.

Not a rumour in any way but just a thought. I believe Ross Barkley would be a great signing for us, adds some power to the midfield plus he's English. Not sure what kind of price Everton would expect. Maybe 10-15mil? Seems worth it to me. We still would need at least 3 more players as he's still raw and will need to be developed but just an idea.

have suspended betting on julio cesar to arsenal. I really don't see why we should get him. Okay he makes some brilliant saves and has been a great keeper in the past but he is a typical arsenal goalie (in recent years). He flaps at crosses and is inconsistent in general. Certainly no better than shezza. {Ed027's Note - Again take your Arsenal tinted glasses off, he rarely flaps when I see him, you haven't see him play, obviously. He is different class to Shezza
1.) I have seen him play many times as I used to watch him play for Inter. I bet a friend a tenner (he's an inter fan) two years running that Inter won't finish in the top 3. I won 20 quid :D. So I had an interest in the Inter games. When he played he was very poor at claiming crosses. There's no doubt he is a great shot stopper though. Perhaps I was a bit biased in saying he's similar to Shezza but Shezza can certainly reach a similar level to him fairly soon. I would rather some one who is currently at the top of their game. Adler would be perfect if he's as good as people say. Maybe even Handanovic who has been brilliant for Inter this season.
2.) May not of had the best season at QPR but none of there players did. There was big issues behind the scenes at QPR which effected the whole team leading to there poor performance

He had a year which is when he tailed off a bit, maybe the pressure of being the best got to him, and people in Brazil wanted him to win the World Cup single handily, he showed last season he's still go it, and if it does happen he'll have a couple of top draw defenders in front of him. & Inter never finished in the top 3 for the last 2 years, one of which Cesar was at QPR. The year before that they finished second behind Milan, the years before that were the Mourinho years and we all no what happened then.}

I think you have read the article wrong. They are saying the information about bale having more than one club interested in him may have been leaked by spurs, not about a bid being accepted for Di Maria.
I think Madrid would already know if they accepted a bid for Di Maria!
Sagna is not slow! He's one of our quicker players.
Why would Varane move from being first team at Madrid to rotation for us? He would also cost a insane amount.
He scored the same amount as Giroud as is only 21, easily worth £18 million. Can't see him coming to us though.
Monreal is easily good enough as a back up imo. There aren't many players of his quality that would be willing to be a back up. Gibbs is great and will hopefully be our left back for many years.
He's a great player but he's getting on a bit and he's not needed.
I don't want Lavezzi, unless it's very cheap as he's 29. Would much prefer Griezman.
