The amount that torres would ask in wages then he is a no imo. far better buying a forward who hasn't been out of form for 4 years who would probably ask for less wages. torres would want roughly 100k a week maybe more, there would be better options at a lower price I think
Would be good cover on a short term loan and would score goals. wouldn't be too unhappy with this.
There is a lot of talk about vidal, pogba, reus and Gundongan on the man u page. these are all top class players who are playing for big successful clubs. they are more or less guaranteed CL football next year which they may not get at united depending on how the rest of the season goes. I am not sure that any of them will want to join united now in the run up to a world cup. some might wait and MAYBE join in the summer after seeing the final league position but they might choose not to if they are only offered Europa league or maybe no European football at all. just my opinion but maybe they should set their sights a bit lower to players who are better than they currently have but not the top worldies until the ship is steadied under the ew manager
I know he has been poor but I think that in the right team and with the right manager Lamela will come good. he was tearing up serie a last year and you don't become a bad player overnight. Maybe they are training him wrong or he is struggling with the tactics. I think that he can be top class, he is only young as well.
I might be wrong here but I see pod as a striker rather than a winger. he does a good job LW but hasn't he won most of his caps as a striker? IF a proper LW is bought that would completely free him up for him and giroud to tussle it out for the strikers position. he gets goals wherever he plays but would score more up top. just my thoughts
