A question to Ed002, I gather were in preliminary talks with St.Ettiene over Perrin but besides from him is there any news of us being interested in anyone else, for example cavani?cheers keep up the good work!

For god sake, yet again arsenal have missed out! If balotelli does go to Liverpool for the supposed £16m reported, and arsenal end the transfer window with the two most lanky useless slow strikers (giroud and sanogo) then we will have no chance of contending for the title! I don't know what stopped wenger moving for him when the reports started circling that we were interested but if it's the £16m price tag then that's ludicrous, anyone would be better than sanogo at this point! Eds I was wondering if you could clarify what stopped us getting him and if we're in for anyone else? Sorry for the rant!
