Eds, have Dortmund signed Ginter? A lot of rumours that they have but is it official?

1.) Thanks Ed, meant pre-signed, like they have with Sahin. Does this mean our focus for a centre back has switched to someone else?

As our rivals, Tottenham look like they are going to sign Soldado, huge pressure is on our shoulders to sign Suarez, with nobody else really available at this time. However, Soldado was also a planned replacement for Suarez so I do not see our Suarez deal going through unless we act quickly. If we do not sign anyone I can see us easily losing out on 4th place to Tottenham. This said, with just a few moves we could challenge for the title next season. I think that we could do this by signing (fees are what I believe we can get the players for based on rumours I have heard):
GK: Cesar-1m- proven, great keeper, experienced, could teach szczesny some stuff and give competition
CB: Rami-8m- from what I have seen he is a solid CB who is well worth 8m or
Williams-10m- proven in prem already, solid third choice and adds to our British base
CDM: Gustavo-8m- great player for so cheap,
Bender-10m-would also be a good signing
or Fellaini-23m- expensive but proven in prem
Fabregas if he becomes available-25-30m- we all know what he can do
Winger:Bernard-21m- I think he would be great for the club- looks like a great player already who would beat podolski and ox to the LW spot and could be worth over 50m in a few years
Striker: Suarez-45m- would finish so many chances for us, easily 20+ goals this season although he would miss the first 6 games. Wringer could change his attitude but to be honest there is not much choice in the striker position at the moment
If we got Cesar, Rami, Gustavo, Bernard and Suarez we would be spending 83m and if we sold gervinho for 8m we would be spending 75m, close to the 70m we have to spend.
I do understand how ridiculously unlikely this is but in my opinion we should aim for these 5 players, if our wage structure can now handle it with many players now gone.
First post, please understand in no way am I saying these moves will happen, but they are all possible. Sorry it is so long
1.) Cesar is more like 3mil
rami would be nearer 12mil
gustavo would be 15
bender has to be over 21mil as we already bid
