Hi. first post.
Higuan just signed for us. It must be true, I saw him and the boss going over the contract in McDonald's. lol. Ok so, as you've gathered I'm joking, but this is the type of crap I keep reading. There is no gossip and everyone's on holiday and the transfer windows not open yet.
I do like some of the names we have been linked with and so hope that we do not drag our feet and loose players like Mata again.
However I feel nothing will change. And if a club want 25mil for a player that we value at 23mil we will loose out over 10% stubborn difference. It's not about our valuation, it is about what the player will be sold for.
Summers here, and we all know holiday prices in the holidays are a rip off and a family holiday abroad jumps from £2000 in June to £4500 in August. If we went into a travel agent and said, your price is £4500 but I value it at £2000 and that's all I will pay. Are they going to budge? No, so get ready for a week in a caravan on the south coast in the rain.
So arsene, pay the price if you want that family holiday abroad in the son.
