Klose and Kallstrom are the targets. AW wants to add experience to the squad.

Question for the Gooners:

Will the likes of Sagna, Mertesacker and Giroud play this weekend or will they be rested for the FA cup? Will AW want to show off some of his youth players seems Arsenal cannot finish no higher or lower than 4th? Thanks.

Sydney!

1.) I'd like to see the likes of bellerin, eisfeld and akpom given a go,
Like you say there's no point risking injury to key players.

2.) I expect the team will look something like this;

Szczesny, Jenkinson, Per, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Flamini, Wilshere, Gnabry, Zelalem, Rosicky, Sanogo.

The FA Cup final team will be something like;

Fabianski, Sagna, Per, Kos, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Ox, Ozil, Cazorla, Giroud. (if Ox is not fit then Podolski)

3.) Thanks for the replies, my rivals on my Dreamteam are close behind me and they have Sagna and Giroud. I am hoping AW plays Sanogo seems he's been disappointing and this game could be perfect to break his duck.

4.) Have to be careful 'resting'players' as they need to be match sharp. Prefer to give them some time on the pitch at least.

5.) Would love to see Jenks get a game if Bac is leaving us

It's almost beggar's belief that Arsenal fans used to compare him to Pogba. I remember once an Arsenal fan saying Pogba wasn't fit enough to lace Frimpong's boots. It's crazy how quickly a player can go from hero to zero. Especially given his young age.

He's a good signing lads. I would have liked him at MU. Congrats.

PS - Liverpool fans are sobbing, every cloud.

AW wants to bring in a striker, but that would mean Bendtner having to go out on loan. Bendtner refused to go out on loan so a striker is now unlikely.

Oezil most certainly never turned MU down. He was desperate for MU to bid for him, but the bid never came so he signed for Arsenal. God knows why Moyes didn't want him. Quality player IMO, although he hasn't pulled up trees in the EPL. I guess he will need time to settle. In regards to Draxler, I think he is Arsenal bound, but because Arsenal know he wants the Arsenal move, they can afford to play hardball with the price. I think they will agree a move tomorrow.

Akie, although I agree Arsenal have way way way more things to be cheerful about than Liverpool. Why do you think Arsenal have nearly paid off the debt?

Debt is due to be paid off in 2031. A mere 18 years from now. Unless there is a takeover before then, Arsenal will not be debt-free until 2031.

The debt comes down just £6m each year and the interest on top of that is around £16m a year. The debt is easily manageable, but a debt nonetheless.
