With the Liverpool hierarchy seemingly reluctant to sell Suarez to Arsenal, could Wenger turn his attention to Rooney?
I would not be willing to sell him to Chelsea (or city) as I see them as a genuine threat to the premier league title and it would be shooting ourselves in the foot.
However, should Arsenal come in with a bid of 35 mil plus, then I would be more inclined to think about it (assuming Rooney IS adamant about wanting to leave) as I see them as less of a threat.
What are your thoughts on this and do you think Rooney would even be prepared to join Arsenal, or would it be a case of Chelsea or staying put at United?
(Just to make clear I do hope he stays, but if he has already made up his mind about leaving then I would rather do business with Arsenal for the above reasons. )
