Hey this is my first post, so don't be too harsh. A lot of interest in Gotze again this morning with UK news papers saying Wenger is about to buy the German and also bring through several youth players. Also heard Capoue is coming in/ or being looked at closely. but what I really want to know is have we or are we looking at
Remy (if qpr go down)
Benteke
Higuain
Jovetic
Fellaini (some interest in January and he must be getting bored at Everton)
Wanyama (Said he might stay at Celtic : ( )
Santon (I think he could be good for us)
Williams
Naldo
Felipe Santana
I know there are a few names on there that have been thrown around and some that haven't but if we could get about 5 of those I think we would be on to a winner, any thoughts? (I don't think any of them would particularly break the bank either)

1.) Don't think Naldo is better than what we already have. And we don't need Santon as we have Monreal and Gibbs.
2.) Remember we have 70 million, in this day and age that's not a lot of money. and you won't get 4 world class players for that amount!
we need to start saying realistic names and not gotze (yes the papers have said we will bid, but he has to want to come) when Dortmund are a better team (sorry but they are) and even if we did get him, that's 30 million gone already in a position that's probably the best in the team.
i'd rather us look at these players
begovic/adler/mignolet
n'koulou/williams/coachia
wanyama/capoue/gonalons
remi/benteke/Aubameyang
whilst promoting players like:
gnabry, bellerin and toral.
get rid of the deadwood (i don't think I need to list these, everyone knows who they are) and it can b a successful transfer window.
sorry if people disagree with the targets, but I can't see us going all out for gotze when he would cost half our budget.
3.) I mostly agree with the last post but are any of "remi/benteke/Aubameyang" really any better than we have? They probably are targets for us but I think we need to spash out on just one player who unquestionably improves the starting XI. My feeling is that Giroud and Walcott are good players to have at the club but we would be better if we had a player that keep one of them on the bench a little more.
