see lacazette bagged 2 again tonight. If he is the target he's added to his price since the season started!

why oh why do we take an age to sort out a transfer!

{Ed025's Note - because you baulk at paying the going rate fitwick, god knows why? your one of the richest clubs in the world but want players on the cheap mate..

That's it you want to compete with the citys and uniteds but want to pay what west brom pay! I'm not getting involved in it this year mate.

2.) 19 Aug 2016 23:13:32
Don't worry, Berahino is apparently a free agent next summer, so we'll swoop in on deadline day with a £30m double swoop for Evans and Berahino!

Why pay for lobster when you can get half as good crayfish for a quarter of the price?!

3.) 19 Aug 2016 23:48:33
I predicate arsenal are just flirting with the players with the intention of tricking the fans they were doing something.

Sad but true Ed.

Ridiculous, a club of our stature and we revel in mediocrity.

{Ed025's Note - i really do wish i was wrong dags, you still have a very strong team though and will dine at the top table im sure, but as far as winning the league i expect you will fall short again as all the other big boys are stronger, i think you will buy before the deadline but 1 token signing will not be enough i fear mate..

Eds not wanting to jinx the ozil deal but with it looking a strong possibility any news on any other transfers? {Ed044's Note - I gave an update already - why not read the other posts?}

yes although I would prefer us to concentrate on a top class CB and cover at LB/ RB (don't think Gibbs or chambers are good enough cover at full back) and obviously a CF, if Mkhitaryan is available at a reasonable price why not get him on board. God knows we struggle with injuries!

hi all,

don't post on here much at all but hopefully be able to throw my views in a little more often. Steve R I think you've answered your own question mate. at the minute I think Vardy is our best option, cause I don't think we can draw the bigger names like City and Co.

with regards to the debate on Vardy not making a decision on moving yet, I think if it's because he's thinking about loyalty to Leicester then fair play. what if he does sign and continues his good form. maybe even betters the 24 league goals he scored last season and helps us win the league and then for one reason or another (injury or some other reason) a club like Barcelona or bayern decide to take a punt on him. would you expect him to immediately jump ship like you're expecting him to now, or would you want him to atheist take some time to mull over the move?

hoping for some good banter during the summer!

Good post brummy. Now the dead wood has be cleared out the coaching staff can give more time to those who deserve it {Ed044's Note - It is a pity to see so little respect for the club that you see Arsenal staff as "dead wood".}

Rosicky out so wilshire in. Ozil I think will only start if walcott is not 100 percent

Tough question. I think most people would love to say jack and rambo especially given rambos form, and I think they will be tge choice for home games against what may be perceived as weaker opposition. But I think for tough away games arteta or flamini will start to give a bit more defensive cover
