hey ed,a small question for you guys!as we haven't bought a striker this transfer window as cavani and benzema were very hard to get,do you think january transfer window will change anything.we all know its anout money,if we had bid 50 million for benz we might have got him
secondly,is their a buy out clause in sturidge's contract..he is a class player when fit and will easily score 20 plusgoals
thirdly why can't we play 4-4-2,for me its the best position for getting best of giround and walcott

preet_elnino

{Ed002's Note - I suspect Arsenal will look to a forward in January and there will not be a "buy put" clause in Sturidge's contract.}

1.) 11 Sep 2015 06:55:12
We won't revert to a 4-4-2 formation.
We won't sign Sturridge as he has been out for a long time with a serious injury and in any event Liverpool are unlikely to sell him.
We won't buy in January as Welbeck, should be back from injury and we may have Akpom back, if his loan deal allows it.

2.) 11 Sep 2015 09:02:18
sturridge would fit in well at arsenal. Our treatment room is the best in the EPL. Joking aside he is a good player when fit

3.) 11 Sep 2015 09:55:51
Browgun that seems to describe most of our players - good 'when fit'

4.) 11 Sep 2015 16:55:04
Yeah to right. Best team in the land fully fit

5.) 21 Sep 2015 17:41:39
A fully for sturridge would be my dream. Perfect for us. Can't see him staying fit tho

{Ed025's Note - he breaks down more often than dags motor..

so it seems no big name stiker coming this transfer window,if we really wanted we had the money to buy either benzema or lewandowski but AW seems too stubborn to pay the money, just a little thought, how about a little gamble on gomis from swansea, not thr big name everyone looking for but trust me with our midfield he will be scoring 20+ goals..your thoughts please

Why would Benzema or Lewondinski leave the clubs to join Arsenal. Both are regulars and at bigger clubs than arsenal. It has nothing to do with money or stubborness. Arsenal had no realistic chance of signing either. Otherwise we wouldve seen the headlines Benzema and Lewdonski both hand in transfer request to force move to Arsenal.

2.) 30 Aug 2015 18:34:34
We have the money to buy most players, benzema is not for sale, nothing to do with wenger been stubborn.

Not all teams need to sell, and not every player wants to play in England.

3.) 30 Aug 2015 18:54:44
Honestly I've been really impressed with gomis since bony left, but thought he was a pretty big risk. But his form so far this season has convinced me we should make an offer for him..

4.) 30 Aug 2015 19:14:20
Would rather Austin than gomis

5.) 30 Aug 2015 20:06:27
Really really important post there noodles. Reality check time pals.

hey ed,great work from all of you involved and as ever we are waiting for signings.i would love to have benzema at arsenal but not sure its going to happen, just want to know your opinion on martial from monaco,he is going to be some player in coming years,

preet_elnino

{Ed025's Note - he looks a great prospect preet, dare i say it a typical arsene player, young gifted and french..

1.) 20 Aug 2015 21:01:38
he is that kinda player who can create somthing from nothing, with great pace and dribling, alexis-walcott -martial as front interchanging three with ozil behind and ox and coq covering as centre minds, lol i think too much of fml is making me dizzy

hello gooners,
i have been a regular reader on this site and can proudly say we have the best fans among these posts.
coming on to arsenal, I ever knew this situation was coming.even though we won our last few games but still that charisma was missing which arsenal is being known for, too sloppy in possession, no quick passing, and if we score we wait for something to happen and we are missing the quality of killing games.we need to turn this around asap.we are still in the mix for tittle but long way to go, so let's get behind the team, because even we win or loose, we will always support this great club.
secondly, all these media and pundits are always agaisnt us.we lost our first game of season and eveyone was laughing at us.fair enough but now when we are still up there, no one is giving us the credit where its due.city or chelsea will nick it in the end but I will still be proud becuase no team in EPL can fight for the tittle with so many injuries.take Hazard and aguero out of chelsea and city for 6 months and let's see where they stand.
thnks

hello everyone!so the crunch period has arrived in our season, games against Chelsea, man city etc will decide where we stand among others in EPL, i'am so worried about Cazorla right now, that guy was immense last season but he hasn't find his form yet.he need to fire all cylinders, may be because he is playing wide left which is not his preferred position but then you can leave out Ozil

secondly, we have a talented squad but if we compare to other rivals we are short on strikers and DM so my choice for this jan transfer window will be-

Javi Martinez-this guy is perfect for both CB and DM cover, he will be expensive but absolute quality.

Loic Remy-with a midfield of Ozil, Cazorla and W10, we need a pacy stiker, will be cheap and not cup tied, he can be 15+ goals striker we are looking for

M salah-plays for FC Basel, has eveything in his locker, perfect wide player with pace and trickery.

morgam schneiderlin-every time I see him play, he looks so comfortable on the ball, young energetic with good passing skills.perfect replacement for aging Arteta.
sorry for grammar mistakes but please do share your thoughts

preet_elnino

1.) I think u have more chance of seeing a rocking horse take a dump than javi Martinez at arsenal this season or next.

2.) Would love Loic Remy, he can be a class forward and very affordable.

hey Eds, any idea how much salah from fc basel would cost. hey can play either wings or just behind the stiker.he is really skillful with great pace and trickry, {Ed027's Note - no idea mate sorry

axel witsel-gomis-martial ,buy these 3 and we are all set to give it a go,and we need to sell atleast one of cazorla, ramsey or wilshere because you can't play all 3 in one position
