Why would you guys moan about not getting average players? Or overpriced players. Not saying I wouldn't like quality signings, but they need to be available and not be way overpriced. If we go on a city alike spending spree, Arsenal would be bankrupt in no time. Or would just go from a title contender to a mid-table club.

I know football manager isn't realistic, but people can play 2 different games there.
One of them is the I go on a shopping spree at the start of the season and don't really care how I stand financial after a year. Mostly winning a lot.
Or you can try and build your club. Buy the right players for the right price, Balance your income and expenses so you can expand your stadium. You can get better players the year after. This will result in lesser results for year one, but will give you the best results after a few years.

Now anyone who doesn't want Arsenal to be taken over by a sugar daddy and turn Arsenal into a new city, should support they way it is now. How long do you think spurs will keep this up? You think Liverpool will be able to be a title contender again? It will take years and years for them to climb up where Arsenal is now.

About selling our key players, I would have given RvP a huge salary boost, would have did everything I could to keep him, but sometimes you have to cut your losses. This is something you can be mad about, you can't be mad about running a football club with some common sense and a long term vision.

Have you been stuck in a time warp. Ffs.

2.) When you say 'long term' - I have the feeling you have no real idea of how 'long term' that would be. I'd say 8-9 years is more than long enough, and with money in the bank, the wait should have ended.

People are not demanding trophies, they just demand that Arsenal produce a competitve team that reflects the cost of going to watch them play.

By all means, drop the price of a ticket by £20 and people will start to complain a little less about watching mid-table performances.

afellay didn't get a squad number in Barcelona. Was a regular Ducth National team player. Can play any attacking midfielder role. Would be a cheap Wenger signing with experience.

Isn't Sakho the defender we need? Wants to leave PSG, young and talented, doesn't cost much? A typical Wenger signing.

I don't think that if Arsenal is linked with a Feyenoord defender it is Janmaat, I expect Wenger if he wants a Feyenoord player to get Bruno Martens Indi.

Spending money equals biggest team? Go support PSG or City with such reasoning, I mean they spent the most so they are the biggest team now?

What you are saying here is: We are going to get less trouble finishing 4th this year?

I think you expect to little, Arsenal should be fighting for prizes. And Chelsea, United and City are improving.
